I've spent 40+ years in the printing business. Shutting down another plant right now. Pretty sure I'll call it quits after the 1st of the years.

Street Rodder magazine was a little out of my genre, but I enjoyed their fabrication articles. It too is a shadow of its former self.

Having worked my entire career in the advertising and graphic arts field I can tell you that in general print is dying. The internet has helped kill it. The costs of print have continually gone up and helped make it ineffective from a cost standpoint. It is far more efficient now to have an online catalog now and forego producing a printed catalog. Obviously magazines are suffering the same fate.

Smithsonian Air and Space recently changed to a quarterly. I'll still send them a few bucks.
