that was a REALLY FUNNY episode.
.
problem is turkey's CAN fly.
wild ones can fly to around 50mph + in short bursts.
even domesticated turkeys can flap their wings to slow their fall. they won't just crash like rocks described in this episode.
it was a COMEDY TV show, so the above really doesn't matter much.

Have you guys seen the one where the tornado was bearing down on downtown Cincinnati and they couldn't find the tornado warning script? So they used the civil defense nuclear attack script and replaced the word 'Russian' with 'tornado'.

"The Godless 'tornadoes' are attacking!" It is almost as good as the 'turkey episode'. WKRP has always been one of my absolute favorite shows.

A good friend of mine who passed recently used to bring this up every Thanksgiving. Had no idea what it was prior to that. Funny as hell. Thanks for the culture and God speed Dave.
