...to see who has the most (running) cylinders, in your garage, driveway, barn, shop, etc (no counting those seasoned blocks under the bench). We used to resurrect this competition at work every couple of years and it was kinda fun "bragging rights". Guess I should start but I am under no illusion of being competitive with this Moparts crowd. I predict the numbers will be large and maybe even surprise the guys who decide to add them up. For me.....
- two V8's, one 4 cyl, one 3 cyl, seven 1 cyl - Total is 30 cylinders for me

Thought I would get in before the big dogs sign in. (3) V8s, (3) 6 cyls, (1) 4 cyl, (2) 1 cyls = 48 cyls. However my boy just sold his 5.0 Mustang and the guy is coming over today to pick it up, so my total is 40 cylinders.

Too much thinkin' and 'rithmetic, ......... but best I can conjure up in a reasonable amount of time is
6 - V8's
3 - 6's, two straights and one V
1 - 4cyl
1- 3cyl
2 - 2cyl
8 - 1cyl
So, thinkin' that's about 85 cylinders total.
Edit,
Somebody said Air Compressor - so 2 more
Power washer - 1 more
Roto-tiller - 1 more
Generator - 2 more
So new total is now - 91 cylinders total.

Trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, compressors, mowers, power washers, etc. all count, as long as they are running and working Then I'm up to 92 but I know I'm missing a few?

I cut the fleet a few months back, so I'm currently at 38 cylinders: 4 V8s and a V6. Plans are to add another V8, but I'm an under-achiever compared to many here. I'm past the era of having 10 cars. Same here. I still have the desire for 10 just not the mental energy lol.

Man you guys are counting everything! If you have a car with the old V2 a/c compressor do you count that as two?
Facts are stubborn things.

If I could all cars/trucks, riding lawn mower, weed eater and air compressors, I have:
6 V8s (5 5.7L Hemi's and 1 318), so 48 1 V6 (3.2L V6 Pentastar, Cherokee) so 6 more = 54 Allis-Chalmers AC130 2 cyl so 56 Weed Eater 1 cyl so 57 Craftsman Air Compressors (2) with 2 cyl each, so 61 total.

Two V8s, two V6s and one running lawn mower = 29 cylinders.

I came up with 48 not counting lawn equipment or air compressors. I think you should add how many cylinders you have that do not run(blocks fully or partially built/bare). I came up with 36.

Autos (cars, Jeeps, truck) = 106 Boat/motorcycle = 7 Lawn mower/2 strokes = 4 Total = 117 That sounds a little low, I should probably start looking for another car...
