To me the big value difference in power tools is how many cycles or years the battery pack can endure.

The label means
“Samsung lithium ion battery cells made in their older plant in South Korea and Samsung’s newest plant in Malaysia, then soldered. into packs in China”

https://www.electrive.com/2022/07/21/samsung-sdi-is-building-a-second-battery-plant-in-malaysia/

TTI seems to be pulling out of mainland China production factories as fast as they can.
TTI changed their legal headquarters location from Hong Kong to South Carolina.

I used to think parent company TTI put the better lasting Samsung lithium cells in their Milwaukee brand tools,
and cheaper non-Samsung cells in their less expensive Ryobi tools,
but I learned at the Direct Tools store in Simpsonville KY just off I-64 that Ryobi tools presently have Samsung battery cells inside too.

Lithium battery packs will last longer if they are stored at 40% to 68% between uses.
Blowers or Vacuum cleaner tools have high amp draw are good ways to pull down 100% charged packs with 4 bars to 2 bar level prior to storage.

Steve Jobs/Apple come up with the I phone. Apple is USA based but a lot of it is made overseas. shruggy Seen a video on some of snap on's electric tools, Batteries made overseas. Timken bearings, Another usa based company but has manufacturing plants overseas. Face it, You are going to have a hard time finding something made 100% in the USA anymore.

So I mention to my next younger brother that Americans should pay attention that the former “Arsenal of Democracy” cannot even quickly ramp up production of 155 artillery shells, and he replies
“everyone should be more worried that we cannot produce even 10% of air, oil, fuel and hydraulic oil filters needed here.”

I mention the subject to my youngest brother, who works as the chief USA troubleshooter for an Italian owned, German factory built, precision pump company that sells worldwide, and he replies:
“The parts situation is actually ten times worse in Europe, and you would not believe the daily #&@! part delays due to who should pay the import duties.”

I mention the subject to my older sister’s family where there are four MD’s and Nurse Practitioners, and she replies “At least half of all medicines, especially the inexpensive ones, are either under rationed supply or unavailable.”
