Or $51,000 before buyer's fee. But this one's BS - the seller "bought" it.
Seller/buyer doesn't appear to be full of financial wisdom, unless I'm missing something...

BJ fevers boost all.car prices. So guys think they got a deal if cheaper than the drinks at BJ Auctiions paid.

Well, there are several factors that are driving prices, like tangible assets, weakened Dollar, auction fever, nostalgia, finite availability.

But what's weird about this one is that the seller didn't wait out the end of the auction for his car, but bought it back ?
Makes no sense.
I personally think that was a lot of $$$ for a so-so restoration and an engine/rearend swap, even on a real RR.
I suppose the separated parts might support the price, if someone had the A12 that engine & trans belong to.

The seller didn’t buy it. I see a buyer and seller listed.

I’ve never seen a 3.91 for the Dana offered anywhere. 3.54, 3.73, or 4.10. Actually seems about normal money these days for a four gear car. Only thing that surprises me is somebody went that much for a white one, and a 68 at that. I thought I was the inky one that would do something that crazy.

I want my fair share

When you get it figured out who buys what and for how much, let me know.

I've come to the conclusion there is no rhyme or reason. Just the different tastes between hot rod and oe stock are vastly different, and so is the costs between the 2. Problem is you never know which one is going to bring the most at any given point in time.

All I can say is it all comes down to WHO is looking,,,,and WHEN.
