Is he still around? Still into it?
Was working on a Road Runner too. Wonder what happened.

Found a short youtube clip.

To do a deal like that and just disappear afterwards seems to point towards something getting in the way, or maybe
a loss of interest....

I've always liked that car, I always wonder what happened? 25 years ago. They got a lot of work done to just lose interest and disappear, at least the cars should still be out here. I was hoping they'd put that Hemi in the Charger and see what it could do, but the purpose built Road Runner makes more sense. I'd buy a magazine just to get an update on the Charger, or even just more pictures. Maybe some in colour, but then again black and white works for that Charger drive

It’s been brought up a few time here over the past 10-20 years.

I think at one time someone knew about the owner.

That was my somewhat vague memory as well. Zero detail.

With the search function having a maximum date range or 2 years, alot of information just goes in the garbage.

Last month in Drag Illustrated he got a foldout picture of his Charger Drag car up at Brainerd. I'd say he's still around.

Found this, but no info on the Charger: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/1683712/4.html

Google Search: 190 mph charger site:board.moparts.org

So you can put whatever you want in front of “site:board.mopart.org”

According to the comments (but 7 years old) he still owns the car. Pretty wild there are literally no other pictures of it online....

It is kind of hard to read those old posts. Some of the formatting gets stripped away so it is a jumble of words. Have to really concentrate to get the drift of the conversation.
