That’s some seriously bad color flop. Not sure I’ve seen one that bad in quite some time.

The 70 seat is a clue to a hard life. I too thought the color looks wrong no matter what panel you look at.

"*Two-stage Silver Metallic paint has excellent depth and shine"
You guys are looking at it wrong...that is just "depth and shine"
Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

Gateway, Streetside and all the other similar places price their cars at double the value! But what amazes me is that they must sell them as they stay in business!! Had a guy tell me once they sell a lot of cars overseas, AND to buyers who want an old car with zero hassles shopping around. One click boom done and on its way

It has to be an eye opener when they decide they bought a car that they really don't want or like and they go to sell and try to get their money back!!

I met one of the salesmen for gateway in Phoenix Az a few weeks back. he says they sell about 8 to 12 cars per month. Most are there on consignment. And fee structure is 9% of the sale price goes to them. He didnt mention if there was a monthly storage / lot fee or not. But my gut tells me there is something in place to prevent the seller from free indoor storage I was at that location about 6 weeks ago for a cars and coffee event. the bldg is full of so so quality cars. Ranging from Volkswagen Beetles, to a Hummer to a Hemi GTX clone, I would say at least 50% of which is way over priced , IMO. I looked at the Hemi GTX ( it was $95K when I was there ) and the 69 Roadrunner ( not a real A12 car btw ) And they also have a decent Challenger TA , but IMO its not a 100K car in person https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/make/sct/plymouth

So, if Gateway is asking $100k for a car that is really worth say $70k and the new buyer pays $85k for it. the buyer feels like a hero for knocking $15k off the price. The owner gives up 10% consignment fee and pockets $76,500. for his 70k ride! Winner Winner Chicken Dinner?

Must be the upper crust of other countries that buy these things. People that simply don’t care if they lose money on a car. Like if Jeff bezos bought something here. I went by the gateway home office when I lived near it. No way the types of people I know that are into cars are buying stuff there, yet they remain open. So the overseas route makes sense, or it’s a front for a different type of, eh, business.

I was watching a F6 A12 Bee that was at North shore Classics in IL. It was advertised at $149,900 for over a year. It was also on e-bay at the same time (multiple auctions over many months). Apparently now finally sold. It looked pretty clean and was advertised as winning Gold. I always thought the price was a little ambitious but apparently someone liked it well enough. Not sure what the dealers cut is there. If they had storage fees on top, they must have been hefty fees considering how long it was for sale. ------ MUSCLE CAR NATIONALS CONCOURS JUDGED *971/1,000 POINTS - GOLD AWARD Had a 69? Shelby GT500KR come thoruhg the shop a few years back with all kinds of awards and cerificates. 40K later the car was driveable. The trans had a severe vibration, disassembly revealed an output shaft that had been WELDED back together. Straight you ask? About .100 out at the end of the shaft. Then the RR lower corner of the L valve cover was leaking quite a bit. Strange as they were factory aluminum covers A good chunk of the cylinder head was missing in that area and built up with JB. I could write a book on the horror's I've seen. BUT it was certified GOLD and had a bunch of other 💩 certificates /awards
