Wing needs to be remounted with better brackets although I wouldn't have installed it to begin with. Other than that it's a nice car.

Agree with all of this. Nice car, terrible wing.

Earning every penny of that moderator paycheck.

That looks like it was a very nice car before someone decided to put the buckets & console inside and a goofy wing on the back.
Seems maybe-kinda strong money, even had it been left original, for a Satellite with 103,000 on it.
Then again, those aren't being produced any more, they're pleasant drivers, and it appears to be clean.

I also hate wing. Nice if a/c works.

I look at it as a crime to drill holes in nice paint and sheet metal to install a damned wing. And it's a 318 car, to boot.

I agree about the drilling. I wouldn't mind it with the 318 and a/c but I think the price is a bit steep for a 318 car. I do love the '69 and '70 body styles.

Friend just sold a 70 383 Cuda a/t, disc, console, F4/white, NOM, passable interior, very complete, two very small SoCal rust spots (drainage), running driving for $35K. Worn paint, but it was a 70 Cuda not a 70 Satellite

Rather have that than this Satellite from back east (what's hiding under that repaint).

Asking strong money.

I wonder what is under the reproduction trunk mat. Perhaps was once a bench seat car. Later model Dodge seats in front? E body or 71 B console? Radio, speed shop chrome air cleaner, MP valve covers. At least the wing will keep the rear end on the ground with all the power of the 318 available. One gets a couple of extra hardware nuts to keep once they find the correct trunk brackets for the wing.

Sorry. 1966 Satellite.

IMO, with prices of 68-70 HP B bodies in the $50ks or more for a good car. It's only natural the others follow suit to some degree.

A friend of mine is about to put his 68 Coronet 500 up for sale at $39,500 And he already has people interested.

Factory installed is a whole different animal and is cool because they were actually rare originally. At least in these parts. beer

Nowadays, you would think that they were standard equipment. They are on just about everything. puke

When those cars were new, and I lived in SoCal, I never saw the wings, and for that matter billboards were very rarely seen.
They started popping up, IIRC, in the 2000s...and now it's like a virus.
