These days I guess that is a good price, but I'd try to get it for less...

It's all a guess until you really look the car over in person, but doesn't seem bad.
The big question will of course be previous rust or collision repairs.
Engine seems rather crusty, but pretty low mileage.
I'm no expert on '71 Charger interiors, but the seats appear up-market for a base car.

I'll agree and bet it's likely a dolled up money pit, wouldn't be a bit surprised if the odo has rolled over or possibly even from another car. RR qtr seems more like primer than paint? he does say it comes with 1/4's but what else is hiding? shruggy twocents
proceed with caution up

I agree, mileage is probably 184,000. Lots of key body parts are solid, big plus. The column shift auto is a negative to a lot of people I'm sure but it does seem like a reasonable starting price.

Looks like it was Butterscotch and then painted orange on the exterior. Current paint job is too far gone. It may shine up again for a month or two before it goes dead again based on other old cars I have had with super oxidized paint.

I don't love those cars, but don't hate them either. Because I can't say I love it I'm going to say the price is too high. Someone who is into these may find the price more appealing..

That Charger doesn't look bad. I mean it's still a factory big block '71 B body under $20k that is a driver. Interior looks good, so that's a big plus. If someone wanted to make it an R/T or Super Bee clone, they would have a good base to start. I have always liked the '71-74 Charger platform twocents
