The same could be said by the people who love steelies and hubcaps and don't need to know your opinion on each and every thread they appear in, but obviously that line of thought only applies to you or maybe it is not comprehensible to you that others may have different interests.

It's the latest fad and is so overdone, that they were calling the MCCAN show the dog dish nationals. Almost no one ran them back in the day,and the few that did buy vehicles with them, took them off and put aftermarket wheels on their cars within a few days of ownership. I had a full set of the 459 wheels in the wheel pile out behind the garage. The reason they were bringing so much money,is because no one bothered to save them. Call it bucking the trend if you want, but I was at the Dodge dealer in 1970,and the only cars that had them on them were Dodge Dart 4 doors and pickup trucks. Flashy wheels sold cars. A Plum Crazy Road Runner with stripes and graphics all over it isn't going to pull off the sleeper look just because it has wheels and dog dish hubcaps that belong on a Valiant!

I know that he had it for sale for $250,000 about ten years ago, I don't know if it ever sold,or who has the car now. When I saw the car on the cover of muscle car review back in 1985,I thought it was the coolest Charger that I had ever seen! It is certainly one of the most controversial cars built.
