have two bare 8 3/4 axle housings here.
one "might" be from my 64 belvedere 2dr post car, having the keyed axles, the other "might" be from a 69 chrysler that was parted out a bazillion years ago.
any worth to these [could be delivered to carlisle] or off to the scrap yard ?

"Might be" is too vague, need to know what they are to determine a fair price.

$100 is fair for a B-Body axle. The A and E-Body ones seem to bring in more money.

The last few B-body housings I've bought - over a 30-year span - were always $100-$150.
A-body cost me $150 back then.
E-body used to be pretty spendy, IIRC, but I never needed one.

How about a 1970 Challenger 8 3/4 with 489 case, 3.23 gears sure grip, complete drum to drum assembly.

No more than $100 each, and E-Body housings I cannot get $100 for... twocents

I know someone who just sold a 489 case 3.23 sure grip , center only for $1000 about a month back

So IMO a complete axle , brakes and all $1500

the one for sure is from my 64 plymouth.
i have one on the rack from a 70 chrysler, so i measured it, and the other is the same.
so, in my duma$$ness, i shall re-ask the question.
what are they worth ?
thanks for the beating i deserved. i know better. spank biggrin

about 10 years ago I gave a B body one away to a member here. Was just taking up space. Bet Doc Diff would take them and make a nice unit for someone.

i would gladly donate them to the good doctor, however, unless he is going to carlisle or has someone going there for him, the shipping would be way more than the housings would be worth.
