I'm looking for a WIW on a 69.5 air breather with lid and all drain tubes (no filter) in good condition. TIA INK.

Current market for a nice original one is $3250-3500, from personal experience.

The last one I saw for sale was on the b body board. It was listed for $3500 and I don’t think it sold. Price was reduced to $3000 and it was gone in a flash. I’ve got an extra one and I’m not letting it go for any less than that. I bought a repop and it was nice and the same weight but the openings for the carbs were off enough that it did not want to fit good. My original one fit perfect.

Fastmark is the one your talking about sell pretty recent? Looked pretty cherry I think out of Cali. If its the same one I'm thinking of.... What aftermarket one did you get? Snobar or Chryco?

I'm looking for one myself. I've been told Chryco's are dead on.

Yes. It’s been several months. I’ve not been regular on the Mopar boards lately. I bought one from Chryco. The weight was fine but I had to work on the openings to get it to fit properly. You can move the carbs a little on the studs to help before you tighten them up.

well, I paid the price. its a very nice original base and lid. Now that I have one it will help me fab up a 4-barrel base for another project I have. with that said if anyone had any hacked up outer a12 base piece that they are willing to let go i would be very interested... I know it a long shot, but fingers crossed.630 514 2063 ink

Yep, $3200-$3500 seem to be the going rate. Unreal where this market is going. Priced the next Generation right out of interest.

I thought I was in deep with a Snobar air cleaner and a factory hood at about $2k total.

Mine was a 100% original piece, stored since the late 1970's. Listed for $3500 in May 2022 and sold for $3350 within 8 weeks.

The last one I saw in person looked like it spent time on the Andra Doria and was listed for $4000.

what I will never understand is how an air cleaner is valued above the hood being that the same air cleaner was on both the 69'5 roadrunners and bee's that's more than twice as many. now factor in how many times owners forgot to put the hood pin's in and the hood went for a ride and ended up in the middle of the road behind the car in two or more pieces. I just let a very VERY nice original hood go at 2500 and it took a while, but I guess the hoods are catching up.

I could have got away with an aftermarket I suppose but I'm thinking original should hold its value. has anyone ever come across one aftermarket at a swap or line? if so, I imagine it's got to sell for less or one would buy new.

you guys would kill me if you saw us using a couple of those lids back in my junkyard ownership days, to stand on when it was muddy................... eek panic ozbbq spank
i think i have a picture somewhere of my buddy "using" one of those to take something off the underside of a challenger, which is rolled on it's side.
he's even older than me, so if you showed up to do him bodily harm, he would probably have "the big one" !!!
