I am going , showing my 92 D150 and racing it Friday evening at South Mountains annual Mopar race.

Cool nice truck!I promised my wife I'm not buying any more mopar stuff till carlisle. I'm trying its not easy. Maybe if i work little more.

Haven't missed it since 1992, don't plan on missing it again but I am getting damn old...

We've gone almost continuously since 1997.

We're going again... Hope to have these coloring books ready to sell again this year. We'll see how it goes. I don't have ANY to sell yet, but when I do, you know this will be the first place I mention it...

We'll also have some garage banners to sell.

I have gone every year since 1992,except for 2020 because of the scamdemic. I will be there this year too!

Very cool,well be there Saturday and sunday.Should be a good show I wonder what they'll have going on this year other than what they posted so far.Either way I'm sure my wife and I will have a good time.

Will always be there. Not sure what our theme will be this year. Will be setup in our normal spot in the midway. Dad will be limited a bit in movement coming off knee replacement, but he wouldn't miss it for anything.

The gate fee is only $15/day or $30 for a weekend pass which is way cheaper than any other large Mopar show.

The Showfield registration went up to $70 this year but if you pre-register it's only $63. This was a decision by the owners and I had no input. Thankfully, it's again cheaper than the other big Mopar shows

Thought I saw your dad walking thru the Indy show. I bought a SB off him years ago. Must have just got the knee(s) recently cause he looked to be moving ok.

We'll be there in Dantes old spots. Row O and around spots 35 I think. WAS SO DAMN CRAZY BUSY last year that I'm almost scared to go this year. I bet we sold 1/2 of what we brought in 2 hours. CRAZY.

We already cancelled a trip to maine for a pre wedding party for one of our nephews,the mother wanted to have another party there as they had another one in California.I told my wife with his wedding coming up we don't have to go to chryslers at carlisle she said are you nuts we are going!I'm a lucky boy!

I don't think this in inappropriate at all. Get the best spaces you can!!

FYI, we're down to 2 spaces in the Car Corral and 8 in the general vending area as of last week.

Just watched Mecum and saw the RTS Cuda sell and Chuck Miller's signing autographs wondering if they both might come out to carlisle this year that would be cool!

Still looking to see who or what other show car might be there.We can't wait!

Cool!This will be the last year chrysler will be still making both hemi cars.Probaby a cool year to attend.

I am going Thursday thru Saturday... I usually only go Friday and Saturday .. I feel like I miss a lot leaving early Friday afternoon to race at South Mountains Annual Mopar race so I will come Thursday this year.

Sounds like a good idea then you can enjoy the whole show!We were gonna try and be there all week but between work and other stuff it looks like Sat and Sunday for us.Well still have a good time!

My stepdad and I will be there as always, we will be leaving our house on Wednesday morning the 12th at about 7am EST and meeting our friend in NY at the PA border at about 9am. This is all if the weather is good that day, but if not we will probably leave on Thursday morning. We will be bringing 2 cars this year which are both C-body cars, pictures are below. A blue 1968 Sport Fury Fast-top which is going to be in the High School Mopar building display, and a freshly restored Sunfire Yellow 1970 Sport Fury S/23 to be in the 1969-1973 C-body Stock class and to drive around all weekend while the '68 is in the building.


I'd like to give a big and special thank you to Ed or @cudaboy340 on here for putting on a great show year after year and for giving my stepdad and I the honor and privilege of being in the special display too, so thank you very much Ed.


As a separate note too though, I'm thrilled that the survivor display is coming back this year after Mel's passing to keep the tradition alive.


Looking forward to the show, as we do every year. See everyone in July, feel free to stop by either of the cars and say hello!

As noted above, there will be a Color Me Gone display to celebrate the CMG 60th anniversary. Randy Lindamood (Roger's son) will be here along with 3 CMG cars (63, 64 & 65) all in Building T. Complementing those 3 cars will be 5-6 other historically significant factory race cars.

YES, through the efforts of Mel Major's sons (Gregg & Ken), the Mopar Survivor Tent will continue!! Although Mel will be sorely missed by all.

There is more that I didn't mention and even more still being dialed in as I type this.

Looks like Hellcat thrill rides are returning to chryslers at carlile this year!

I'm going for the first time ever and bringing my 17yo son. Since we're driving from Wisconsin I'm taking my 2017 Challenger.

That's awesome,its worth the trip!Did you register for the fun field!?You get a spot on the fun field and it would include you and another driver in this case you're son.

Where will the Missile team and car be.

I tried to check out the chryslers at carlisle map but having trouble downloading the map maybe Ed cudaboy340 will know we're they'll be.

I thought near the ram chargers tent before....and or maybe the midway area not far from the direct connection car and tent last year.

The Missile Group will be the in McCandless Display on the Midway. I believe Arnie is bringing the Duster.

Your best bet is to call us ASAP at 717-243-7855. To the best of my knowledge, we are fully sold out but people occasionally back out so we do get some spaces from time to time.

More like a lot of people parking vehicles and camping in swap spots rather than vendors there selling parts...

Rolling in sometime Thursday and leaving Sunday morning. I'll have my 1977 Chrysler Cordoba T-top Crown Roof car in the Survivor tent.

There is definitely some of that taking place, but it's nowhere near the majority of spaces as your post implies. I'm working on trying to clean it up. I had a guy go around and take pictures for me last year plus I have aerial pics from the drone.

With over 3,100 vending spaces sold, it's still an amazing Mopar swap meet!!

I noticed that too over the years but I thought vendors bought the spots and parked their campers etc..

At larger multi day events, I would be parked in my vendor space on the first day while I searched for things to buy. Second day I set up to sell. Third day was just a quick run through to see if there were any screaming deals or anything that I couldn't live without. Then it was time to head back home because most buyers don't hang around for the last day. If they do, they they aren't serious buyers looking to spend the big bucks.

It's a lot later than I planned, but I'd still like to drop off my truck in its car corral space tonight if I can.
If I do it tonight, I can get a ride back home & leave it there the rest of the weekend & drive my Challenger back & forth to the show field.

If not, I'm going to be stuck driving the truck back & forth each day and have to leave the Challenger at home.

My wife got sick & so bringing it tomorrow(Thur) & having another ride home just fell through.

Wednesday & Thursday are 'set up' days. They do have security working at night, so gates may be manned but I have not seen them locked before?

A friend of our Hemi Fred had the Sox and Martin 73 hemi duster pretty cool!Do you have the duster too?
