Those last couple of pictures are great photos from this last weekend at TV. I gotta say I had a great time there, well worth the drive to meet a bunch of some of the friendliest racers and folks around. Great place to race and camp as well.

It was great to meet you Tom. I think I told you a couple time but You have a awesome car there.

last but not least, the old master himself. He is putting a car together, I don't know when he plans on running it, he also had a really nice 63 Dodge wagon outside that I couldn't get a photo of, it was too dark. I always enjoy spending time with Jerry, I know he will be at the Mopar nats this summer.

Thanks! you made my day!!! I always try to talk to Jerry at the Nats every year. A couple years back we had a wagon full of Supertricks that got his attention, The pics made me laugh because it looks like he has a lifetime supply of them stacked on top of that cabinet! HAHA!

Ha!, he does love his super tricks, I think he would put them on his daily driver if possible. I thought my shop was messy...er, I mean, slightly out of order, it's nothing compared to his. Those fenders resting on that 64 are aluminum, just incredible, all that in a quiet sub-division in Jersey. When I was there he had just returned from a visit/shopping expedition at Dvoraks and he had some cool stuff. At any rate, I am glad you liked the pictures.

I kept watching it as it was on ebay. Glad to see it will be used for what it was built for.

What did that car sell for????
Thanks Ralph

An original 1967 Hemi GTX, a rebuilt 1966 Hemi engine complete from intake to oilpan, a 1968 hemi K-frame, a set of bucket seats and steering column for a 1970 charger, and 230 presidents, and I don't mean George.

Speaking of wagons, what ever became of John Macey's east coast based "Lead Zeppelin"?

Nice to see the sister car to my dads wagon in same area. Matt Curtin owns Gary Ostrich's 66 hemiwagon and was the other SS/GA wagon built to run against 428 Mustangs. We will be restoring dads wagon back to its purple lace paint job.

Nice Post ..

I remember seeing that car in Kecks garage about 1977 or 78

Always liked your fathers hardtop back in the day

I got back from Nam and went by to see Gary. I saw the wagon in the shop and thought he had built a matching tow vehicle until I saw the big tires on the back. Gary said they were going after the AMX's. He said it should run 1/2 second under the current record.

Your dad's car was my favorite of the two, do have any pics to share?, I'd like to do one as a B/SA, only issue is that little thing called money.

Photo of Matt Curtin's 65 a990 Dodge coronet raced at Marion SD in mid 70's was grand spaulding dodge car and was sold to Jim Van Zee. Neat old school paint job done by del star who also did Gary ostrichs cars including dads wagon. I have traded for a 65 coronet 2dr post car within the last month and will be putting it together this winter to run brackets at Marion & Humboldt Ia.
