12.5:1 572 stage v heads in a street/strip car 5000plus stall and 3300# race weight. Card suggest 106 install, but what do the Hemi guys think? 50 years ago with the R-292/294/296 cams, we installed them at 102. On a 426 SS/A and AA, and A/B MP packages, both the 426 and 400 inch engines. That’s at the valve, zero lash.

I like to put them in +2 to +4 so 106 on a 110 LSA seems legit to me. AG

That big Hemi is going to make some serious power! That's a decent sized cam.

I was at Sonny Leonards one day and he had one of those cam checking gizmos. That told me he's bought a cam that wasn't right before. I wanted one, but when I checked the price, I had to step back. Even though I'll pay about anything for a fancy tool, I couldn't do it for a guy that builds a motor every couple of years.

No, two were custom grind Isky, one was a old Racer Brown before he died and one from Comp Cams after they switch to the new machines and maybe a General Keneitics (SP?) or a Cam Dynamics CRS You check the exhaust lobe the same way you check the intake lobe in relation to TDC, when you advance the intake lobe to get max lift closer to TDC you move the exhaust lobe exactly the same amount away from TDC If it is ground on 110 LSA and installed at 106 ATDC ILC then the exhaust lobe center should be in at 114 BTDC: scope: If you get 106 ILC at .050 before and after max lift on the lobes and then see 106.5 at .100 before and after max lift and then see 107 at .200 you got my kind of luck
