Well it’s that time of year where SEMA is nearly here and as expectedly, a lot of new items, vehicles, equipment and such will be on display. I’ll be there as unofficial due to the economy taking a huge hit, but still going to be a decent attendance compared to last year. I have a couple friends doing videos for YouTube so I’ll post link here from the show so you guys can see stuff hours later instead of days or weeks later. I have been asked by a (redacted) I know to see if the New Dodge Charger is displayed, to get measurements for possible v8 conversions. If some of you are lucky enough to attend, please help out and post stuff here for our members whom were not able to attend.

Booked a month out and all the big name hotels were full. People still spending $$. Got a room in the Westlake right beside the convention center. I liked last time being at the Venetian that’s connected to the AAPEX show.

Hopefully this year will have some really neat, new products. I expect with market changes that have been happening, we can see different power plants and body materials being used in the automotive industry. I'll be staying at te Rio because I made a mistake and looked at an old vegas map. Decided to rent a car for the first time and take advantage of parking since I'm meeting with influencers and tech engineers this year.

So it’s about 8:30 am and headed to the rental place and first thing I do is check out my car, which is a purple charger with a funny scoop? Been awhile since I got in a new car and talk about sensitive brakes and throttle response! First off I end up stopping at Vegas Speed to check out the morning test track where Hellcat drift car and dozens of Porches, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Other fine ride seem to get a real workout for some fun. Meeting up with Moparts/Youtube member and heading out for a little brunch before our next place to visit.

I was hoping to see the electric Ram but on the news this AM they said they would unveil at CES in January!

Yes the shortages and cargo delays have put a decent affect on the sema and show circuit this year. Image how bad it’s going to be with them with electric vehicle stuff by mid-year.
