I usually stay with name brand stuff ( honda yamaha etc) because of parts availability and warranty. I learned the hard way when I needed to repair a China made generator. $1300 in the trash.

topside Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,763 A collage of whims	I worked at a powersports place for a while a few years back - they sold & serviced several brands, including Yamaha and a couple of the cheaper Chinese-made lines. Everything was about the same as far as reliability, but the Chinese stuff took a while for parts or warranty stuff.
