6 gallons of synthetic oil for $45 shipped.

Something tells me that is an error on the website and it's supposed to be a 6 qt box, not 6 GAL.

Nope, people have already ordered and received 6 gallon containers.

Oddly enough, found deal on pinball forum I frequent.

Was it $45 shipped to the store or to your home? If it was to your home, they changed it and now charge for shipping. Shipping almost doubled the price for me, and my nearest store is over an hour away.

Must of been a error they corrected. I just got a 6 gallon, box for $77 shipped.

Same thing on ebay is $120.

But still a decent deal for my parts runner.

That is a good deal! But all my damn cars take different oil! Considering it for the wife's car though, 6 gallons is like 2 years of oil changes.

My mistake, just the oil I wanted is unavailable. everything else seems to show as being able to add to cart.

I just finished the last of my 10 Home Depot 10W-40 , 5 Quart Jug for $1 Deal , So I just ordered 6 , 6 Gallon Jugs . 4 Jugs of the 5W-20 , and 2 Jugs of the 0W-20 , for January + February . Grainger is just a coffee Drive down the road from me , so NO shipping charges either . Even Napa on Sale this Month for $5.89 a Quart can't touch this $1.89 a Quart full Synthetic . Thank You . We should also take note that this is a historical moment. Something on Grainger is a good value! lol they are usually so high priced on everything. They live off of the big companies that use the convenience factor they offer of having most everything available.

Grainger can surprise you; I purchase spare a/c condenser fan motors from them to have on hand and their prices are excellent. Our building has 13 of them so you can always count on one or two to fail every season.

Also most larger companies have special pricing plans set up with their accounts.

I work for a medium-sized school and we NEVER pay the price that's listed in the catalog or on their website. It's always less--usually much less.

Hmmm that is good to hear, I need to replace the condenser fan on my house AC because it looks like one of the bearings has been getting hot.

Good to know, they are right down the street from my work and we seldom use them. But when we use them its because they have it and we need it and price isn't so much of a concern. Our volume with them is super super low so we pay the published price lol.

Having an account kicks in discounts, way less than the catalog.

Off the top of my head I think we pay $110 for a 1/2hp 220 volt 3-phase motor 1750 rpm. shipped.

I just picked mine up. I got an order confirmation email immediately and another when it was ready for pickup the next day. The clerk actually brought out 2 boxes. He wasn't sure why he had the other. He tried to sell it to me, but that's too many years worth of oil for me. Both boxes were labeled Dexos 1. I suspect that's why this was so cheap. The website shows the product is now Dexos 2.

Talked to Grainger today, backorder they say.

Delivery date has changed to 9-28-22

Yea, I sent a email to cancel mine.... they keep hitting my card, then return, then hit it,return.... so what, wait to the 28th to get jacked around some more?

The over stock supply is probably gone, and they can't talk their supplier into selling them more at the price they bought the last batch for.

If you were lucky enough to get some the first round, Congrats. If you missed out on the first round, I suspect that ship is long gone, good luck getting your order filled at that original price.

I bought a 12 quart box of straight 10W 30 oil today @ $34 and change, on sale from the original $53 price tag. Don't expect that price to hold very long either!

I called and requested mine be cancelled. No e-mail but when I checked my account it showed the shipping date pushed back to January 30 of 2023.
