I've been vaxed and boosted but still caught this damn Omicrom (based on symptons) early last week. And I got it BAD. If you havent had it try not to.

Started with raw sinuses. Then drippy nose. Then wicked headache (like my brain is swollen and pressurized), body aches, fever, sore throat, night swets - like a BAD flu. But the SORE THROAT. Like the worst strep thoat I've ever had. Can't sleep cause I cant swallow my own saliva. Havent been able to eat or drink much either so thats not helping. 5 days in and maybe a tiny bit better - or I'm just getting more used to the "eating broken glass PAIN" when I do have to swallow. After a couple days I was really concerned. Made an appoint at CVS with a Minute Clinic because if you test positive they will give you a 5 day pack of government paid for anti-viral pills. The anti-virals are supposed to prevent the virus from replicating and thus ease symptoms. Let me tell you I can't "tell" if they are working, and if thery are and this would have been worse without them, I wouldnt be here!!! I've had Pneumonia a few times that was a walk in the park compared to this crap. Luckily we just purchased a new lake house last fall so I've quarantined here. Wife just brought me over the counter meds and food today and set outside. Oh, one other symptom; when I drove 5 miles to the drug store I wandered out of my lane a few times. Dizziness? The "brain fog" they speak of? I bought one of those fingertip PulseOx monitors that you can check your blood oxygen level so I didnt suffocate to death while out here alone. So far my lungs have stayed clear, for now. I read where people think they are turning the corner to only get real sick then, well..... Luckily my daughter is a PA so she's keeping in touch with me.

Worst part is I have a small biz to run. Not the kind of biz where I sit in an office lighting cigars with $100 bils. I have the kind where I work 12 to 18 hour days EVERY day making stuff, answering phones, running the biz. I am so behind and screwed.

Just curious who else has had it, the bad stuff, and how long did it take to get over it.

My mother just got over it. Exact same symptoms as you had. She got vaxed, but over a year ago.

I have never tested positive yet, and neither has my wife or daughter. My son did earlier this year and we clam backed in it for over a week in this house. I have no idea how I haven't contracted it yet.

Cold ice water for sore throats. Numbs things long enough so you can actually drink something.

Wife and I are both vacced and boosted. Nothing yet. Get well soon, Pneumonia nearly killed me when I was 17, 8 days in the hospital, covid would take me for sure at 67.

You'd KNOW it if you had it. Trust me smile I bet you have had a dozen "clot shots" in your life.

I did test positive about a month ago after MANY exposures through work. I'm actually surprised it took that long. I've been careful but when you're in a closed area with someone positive, coughing up a storm and not covering their mouth and there's little to no ventilation...

I had a minor sore throat, no fever, and that was about it. Only reason I tested was because this exposure was so much closer than the others and the very minor sore throat that only lasted a day.

Facts are stubborn things.

Wife started feeling sick Tuesday. Her lady friend who she had just made a four day trip to Reno with and returned Monday called on Wednesday to inform her she was sick had tested positive for Covid. I started feeling bad Thursday evening. Sore muscles and some slight congestion. We went and got tested Friday. Both positive. Doc prescribed Prednisone and Azithromycin. Started felling better Saturday and feel fine now. Still on the five day lock down but spent most of today doing yard work and working in the shop. Neither of us have the shot. We are not going to get it either.

I got vaxed last Halloween, appropriately enough. Got covid in Feb. Lungs filled up, had to sleep sitting up, well to catch what sleep I got. No treatment from the doc, was told go to the emergency room if it got worse. Wondering what worse was at that point, dead? Girlfriend got me some heavy duty decongestant and that cleared up my lungs, as long as I took them. To this day I still get congestion in my lungs at night

I get tired a lot easier, my pulse rate likes to drop into the upper 40 when that happens.

Damn, thats sounds bad. This new Omicron strain is said to stay out of the lungs and just be upper respiratory but thats not the way my luck runs.

I got COVID early on in 2020, before thing started getting bad! Sick for about a week, strong flu like symptoms, no doctor or hospitalization.
Since then, not shots for me. I have been exposed multiple ties to people who have had it. Got sick again in late 2021, tested everyday, no COVID!
in 2020, it started with my daughter, and spread quickly through the family. No shots for any of us. Yet we know plenty of people who have had the shots, booster and yet still got it.

I haven't had any symptoms. Most of the people I know got it last year. Some had mild cases, some got hit hard. One guy was in bed for two weeks and lost 20 lbs before he pulled thru. One guy who I barely knew passed away but he was overweight and had heart problems already so it didn't take much to knock him off. The younger, healthy folks snapped back quickly, the older folks struggled. I know some little kids who got it and they basically just had runny noses for a week.

Wife had it recently and she was vaccinated. Fever ,cough, congestion and loss of appetite. She says things smell odd now. Nothing to play with for sure. Some friends have said they haven`t got their complete sense of smell back yet and it had been quite a while.

I'm in the "older guy" group. I'm sure it'll be 2 weeks and I have lost over 10lbs up

Worst part is at 60 I think my immune system is less effective. Luckily I've never smoked. My work is physical - not brick layer but maybe carpenter level. I eat relatively healthy. Could lose 10 more pounds but thats because of slower metabolism not eating donuts/sedintary.

Just got over it. It spread like wildfire. Since I get a cold or flu every year that's what I thought I had but the tests for covid showed positive. Only had one bad day that I didn't feel like doing anything. The worst part was the never ending phlem in my throat and a persistent cough. Lasted two weeks. Lived life normally but avoided contact with people or wore a mask around them till I tested negative for a few days straight.

I really don't know how I've been lucky enough not to get it. There are 11 techs in the shop where I work and 9 have had it. Been vaxed with a few boosters as I am high risk diabetic with asthma. I just hope the shots keep me from dying shruggy

It's going on 3 yrs now so unless a person has isolated themselves the whole time they have likely been exposed to it at some point.

It's been said that some people simply will never get bad symptoms for various reasons not totally understood. Blood type has been mentioned as one of those things that appears to make a difference as to what you end up with.

11 days in the living room with the door closed, only came out for a shower and meals, I didn't want to give it to anyone else or my wife. May have given it to my wife's cousin who did not do well with it, and his wife died while having it! eek Of course I have no idea if I gave it to them, just that I figured out later that I had symptoms when I saw him. I know where I got it, the MCACN show in Chicago, knew quite a few who came down with it afterwards... frown No jab and never will, I knew I would get through it so no reason to get something I cannot find out anything about. Hard to sleep, hard to breath, lost sense of smell. Went to a clinic when I knew I had it, tested positive, they gave me anti-biotics and told me to take over the counter anti-inflammatory, and drink lots of fluids. I am 100% recovered but it took 3 months...

Not vaxxed, never had it. (or if I did, it didn't show any symptoms whatsoever) And I live with my 70-year-old mother.... and she's been healthy as a horse the whole time, too.

Matter of factly, never been healthier. Haven't been "sick" since January of 2019.... when I did have "something" that had suspiciously all the symptoms of covid, but it was before they'd politicized the flu. So they just told me I had a virus that I had to let "run it's course". But since then??? Nothing.

My allergies are driving me nuts this spring, but that's nothing unusual. Just popping Claratin's like they're Tic-Tacs.

The wife and i both vaxxed 2 X So far OK, My brother and his wife blew off the Vax and both got is pretty bad apparently the original strain (19). he's doing OK but about 80%. I was like why the h-ll didn't they test her at the same time he was. they said a shortage of kits ? W-F0
they live in Grass Valley ca. Wouldn't think there would be shortage of test kits not to mention He's positive, They obviously live in the same house, she had symptoms but they said it was likely just a cold and didn't test her. About 2 weeks later they finally tested her and the Dr's office didn't notify her for 5 DAYS that she was positive She's much worse as she waited too long . She is in week 4 and better but very weak realcrazy shruggy

I too had not been sick in years. The whole social dstancing and hand washing and hand sanitizer everywhere I'm sure has helped us all.

Kinda sad how this became so politicized. And still seems odd to hear people say "so and so still got it even though vaccinated". The purpose of the vaccine is not that it makes a person bullet proof, just that when/if you get it your body has "seen" it before and can respond according without "over reacting" - Cytokine storm.

I personally don't care if a person decides to get vaccinated or not. Personal choice. Myself, I've worked WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY too hard that any help I can get to not DIE I'll take.

Again, look up the CRSPR documentaries on Youtube. Most fascinating medical breakthoughs ever and not some "mad science" vaccines like the ones we were given and WILLINGLY stood in line to get, as kids.

We've had it 3x now. First time was mid-Feb. 2020 (before anybody in the US had it..............supposedly), then we all got Delta last summer in early Aug. - WE FELT LIKE CRAP for 2 weeks ea! Then in November, one of my daughters got the Omicron - REALLY bad sore throat, low grade fever, feeling crappy - but not as bad as the Delta - none of the rest of us caught it from her. Then about 5 weeks ago, we all got Omicron AGAIN! Mine felt like a bad cold with a low grade fever for 4 days. Did not lose our smell or taste, a little cough but no real chest congestion, headaches, body aches, runny nose & sneezing. We all got over that. For the Delta & this last time around, I self-treated with Ivermectin, zinc, Quercetin, & various vitamins. Ivermectin definitely helps. We have not been vaxxxxxxxed. We know LOTS of people who have gotten Covid at least once, & some 2-3x & they are fully vaxxxed. The vaccines do not help at all I'm convinced.

The other thing that is quite peculiar, is once you've had it, you do not seem to be much immune to getting it again. They did a GREAT job engineering this virus! Totally successful!

Gonna guess that would depend on the 'strain" you had. I had back surgery in Dec '20 so I was required to get the test, they also tested for anti-bodies. I was told that test showed I had Covid at some point.... I said you would have to explain when because I never recall feeling sick...at all!

Since then the wife and I have done a few trips including Vegas,Yellowstone,Deadwood, Pigeon Forge and recently the Kentucky Derby where we were shoulder to shoulder with 100k people......zero issues.

I am an instructor at a tech college and see anywhere from 20 to 60 people everyday....zero issues

Wife and I are both 60 years old and in decent health......no vaccinations.

I've had lots of close calls. My nephew and his wife were over visiting last year, I sat right next to them in my camper chatting for 30 minutes. 4 days later, they were both in the hospital with it. Most of the people in my office had it, my son had it. On Easter this year, we were over at my sister in laws, spent the day in their house, ate together, shook hands with him, hugged her, 2 days later they were sick with it.
Either I'm lucky, strong, or the shots are working. Very sadly, I know a few who have died from it.

DM, hang in there, get well!

I got double vaxed and boosted early on. Came off the road in late March 2022 and had a scratchy throat and a 102 fever that came on quickly. Took a couple of ibuprofen and slept for about 10 hours. Fever went away and just had a slight cough for a few days. I've been much sicker in the past with the traditional flu/cold.

My wife had the same symptoms as you. Did not test. No point really she had it. Felt really bad for about two weeks then fair for two more. I lived in same house and never caught it. Neither vaxxed. Never will be. I’ve got a Dr., a PA and a RN in the family that say the vaccine is worse than the shot. I had a friend die with heart problems after he was vaxxed. Symptoms , treatments and deaths are so varied on this virus, it impossible to predict. On thing for sure, if the vaccine worked, the pandemic would be over. Good luck, Jim. It’s not fun running a business like yours and being sick. Hope you feel better soon. I’d be in the same boat.

If I had to bet the farm, I'd say everyone in my house had it in late Dec, early Jan 2020 before we knew there was covid. Whatever it was sure hung on for quite awhile. When I took the kids to the doctor, she said she thought it was a virus and it will just have to run it's course. We've all been tested several times since then, all negative.

My manager got it last week. He was on a vacation with family ( wife, kids and grand kids) all got it ,vaxxed and unvaxxed.
They were in FL at Disney.
My protocol is staying away from people under 50.

Thanksgiving of 2020 for me. 17 of us at my small church got it and were all tested. 54 hours of the worst headache I’ve ever had, tired but knew I had to keep active, lost my smell and taste and it still isn’t totally back. I bumped my Cpap up from 10 to 12 to help with breathing at night. Never vaccinated yet and never will be.

I know people who have had it and said "No big deal". I also know four (4) people who died from it, including a close relative. The other three fall under the "extended family" category, too.

AFAIK, neither my wife nor I have had it. But we know friends & schoolmates of at least two of our kids have had it or tested positive while not showing symptoms, and this is a recently as last week.

I'm not vax'd or anything but my symptoms were the same as yours. it took a few weeks to get over the rapid exhaustion when doing manual work, but at least now you should be immune. I used Dr. McCullough's home based treatment method and cut my sick days in half.

When this all started I just went about life as usual. If they had a sign to wear a mask I did and if not I didn't. Never got vaxed and never worried about it. My wife works with several high risk people so she got vaxed and boosted.

Two days after Christmas I got a headache, sinus congestion, a little blood when I blew my nose, felt tired and had a fever for a day and half. All the symptoms of a sinus infection and figured no big deal. Never thought it was Corona Virus. 3 Days later my wife gets similar symptoms. She wanted to get tested so we did and tested positive. My son also got it. He and I felt better faster and had lesser symptoms even though we weren't vaxed than my wife who was.

I figured at least I get a week off work, first week in January, but I'm a state employee and our state went back to the old criteria of 24 hours after the fever is gone it's back to work.

I will say that the sinus congestion stuck around for about a month longer than a sinus infection usually causes it to.

I have had dozens of students tell me they had it and only 1 had serious problems. Vaxed or un-vaxed didn't seem to make a difference. I think that there are underlying situations that make some people more susceptible, but nobody knows what they are.

Hope you get feeling better fast. up

I've had it and don’t recommend it. The initial hit was similar to the flu (muscle aches fever) lasted about 24hrs but the brain fog was relentless. Since then (march of '20) my ambition, cognizant functions, sleep have all been negatively effected. Where once I could have a creative (complete) thought and then execute it now not so much. Even typing this I have had to reread to correct missing and incorrect words. I often find myself staring and my monitors, losing my words mid conversation and just being angry for no reason. It has ruined my productivity Its been an interesting (frustrating)14months.
Since having it I have had all three Vax's and after each one felt guilty for doing it...

Not vaxxed, never got it. Ran through both my sons' families (one family vaxxed, one not) with similar symptoms and length.

Depends upon one's immune system..
Had (2) close friends get it.
1 went into the hospital for 3 days, now home but can't drive.
The other 1 went into the hospital for 2 weeks, came home was very frail and weak.
Now 2 months later he has regained his strength back.

Just my $0.02... wink

Got it February 2 of this year. This was after receiving both Pfizer shots but not the booster. The way I felt at first, I just knew I had the flu. Lost my sense of taste the next day. Went to my doctor, tested positive for COVID. He put me on a steroid and an antibiotic. Felt terrible for about a week. Woke up at 3 am one day and was composing my obit. I started feeling better about a week later. My sense of taste came back within two weeks. But, the lingering effect I'm still having is a shortness of breath after minor exertion. I'm worn out after taking a shower every day. Never smoked cigarettes.
I had a stress/echo-cardiogram last Friday. The doctor said my heart is fine. Apparently about 30% to 35% of people who've had COVID report shortness of breath. My doctor said nobody completely understands why. Otherwise, I feel fine.

I got it in december 2020 lost my smell for about a month was pretty much the only symptom. The first couple I knew with the shot both of em nearly died from that, to date they are the only ones I have personally known to go to the hospital for covid or covid shot. No shots for me, no face diaper, no being anti social...

Hmmm, I don’t ever remember having any symptoms of covid BUT what you just described fits me to a tee. Very hot yesterday out playing golf and I would get shortness of breath and weak, cooled down then ok. But any exertion here lately I have to sit. Don’t think it’s heart since test show I’m open everywhere in the arteries.

go vaxxed in November as I was going to SEMA and mingling with 80k people from around the world and did not want to take a chance since I take care of older parents. There for 4 days, got nothing. End of January, me and 2 family members get it. It sucked so hard and it brought back my childhood asthma, other stuff. Currently in bed for a week with covid symptoms again, but not testing positive.

I contracted it in December. Mild cough intermittently, very sluggish. Slept a lot. On again off again low-grade fever.

Went through a bunch of us at the store, only ones not getting the covid were the smokers!! I kid you not.

Got over it in about 8-9 days. Took therapeutics which I believe lessened the severity.

I finally had it about a month ago. Tested positive. I was sick with all the symptoms for about a week. Second week was still weak and sluggish feeling. 4 weeks later and while I have mowed the front, side and rear grass the last 2 weekends I have had to take 4-5 breaks, which I have never had to take a break ever before. I used to be able to mow from start to finish non-stop and then do whatever the rest of the day. The last two weekends it felt like I was pushing the mower uphill the whole time. I am sure it will get better over time. It isn't no joke, that's for sure.

I remember reading a article that in France where there is still a lot of smokers they had a significant less infection rate.among smokers.
The theory was the smoke coats the lungs.

I also read where cannabis (weed) can help prevent covid and it's symtoms. While I am an occasional recreational user some people I know who smoke every day have not had the virus. My mother in law uses oils to ease the suffering of chemo and cancer and she hasn't had the virus either.

Or maybe they’re in another world and don’t know it? lol. Our immune system has got us to where we are today imo. Here’s some thought, what deadly virus will we find on other planets when we get there one day? Maybe this is evolutions wY of getting us ready for that day.?

There are probably thousands of years of things that need to be done on earth before we need to worry about other planets .

Here comes the Monkey virus, always just before mid terms or elections. Gotta keep this crap going, next the cow virus, dog, weasel, ground hog, potato, beer (that ought to take out a few), red meat and last but not least the OIL virus!

Covid was BAD!!! I haven't been that sick in years! Initially, I thought it was just a typical winter sickness. No one around me had Covid, so I assumed my sickness wasn't Covid. On the third or forth day, breathing became difficult. That is when I went to be tested. No idea where I caught it. I managed to stay out of the hospital, but was very sick!!

The residual effects included severe fatigue, limited lung capacity, brain fog and depression. These symptoms lasted for 4-5 months! Attempting to do any physical activity during that time period quickly lead to exhaustion. The brain fog was frustrating!!!

The medical establishment still has much to learn about Covid. I have not heard of anything that helps with the longer term symptoms.

Just getting over Covid right now,

Mine was mild, so must be the latest strain, cough , headache , stuffed up head , no energy, ready for sleep at 7pm frown but lungs clear and no problem breathing

And its been 1 1/2 weeks now , down to just a cough now , When it first started it seemed to be just a cold but tested positive for Covid but then the other symptoms started

And the first couple of days I had the "cold" before I felt really sick or even thought to do the Covid test, I passes it on to others shruggy

So staying home and avoiding people until I'm well again , And yes I know who gave it to me , Made a scrap run with a friend who had a cold which turned out to be Covid
Just riding in my pickup for a hour , I got it from him confused

Back at end of March - headed out for FIRST business trip in 2 years !! . . .drove 6 hours to meet client, had supper with, and stayed night in hotel. Saw client at their office next day, then drove 6hours back home . . . 2 days later - tickle in throat - started to have sniffles and achey. . next 4 days were brutal - nose running/stuffed up, achey all over, no energy, and sore throat- like razor blades, fever . . . finally all broke through after 5 days . . . AND I had the vax along with booster !!! . . . think one of the longest lasting effect was the fatigue . . . lasted another 2 weeks after seemingly being recovered. Or maybe that was just me being lazy ??? . . . lol

Wife & I had our shots plus she had a booster since she is a breast cancer survivor. She was feeling a little rundown in April and tested positive but never got any worse. We did miss her uncle's funeral with full military honors because of it. frown

Pretty much what a12rag said…. Got it last august. Think I got the J&J shot the May before that. Daughter works in a hospital and leaned on me to get it. Figured with being past military and them shooting us with whatever to be deployment ready how bad could this be. Missed 11 days of work, and “the fog” lasted a good week after that. I really surprised I didn’t mess something up at work but I took great precautions to make sure my tasks as an auto tech were completed. Taste and smell were affected. Not sure that my sense of smell is really back 100% or not.

Can a covid test today tell if you ever tested positive? Fatigue gets me if I exert myself, but have never had any systems from the start. Only thing is I eat something real sweet it leaves a funny taste in my mouth till I take a swig of Jack.

My youngest brother lost his 59 year old wife to Covid when she tested positive and was in a severely overwhelmed Houston Methodist hospital in January. My brother was told that they would check her into a bed in the Covid section for observation, but that first night with no message to him, they put her on a ventilator, she vomited with it going into the lungs, organs started shutting down, brain waves showed a hopeless situation, and he had to make the decision to turn off the ventilator. Strangely when he got her death certificate it did not have Covid listed as either cause of, or contributor to, death.

Other family members who travel a lot have gotten Covid twice.

My sister who is the medical area has been exposed many times has never tested positive.
Her husband who has treated hundreds of Covid patients, including patients who were found to be positive after he delivered their baby, did not get Covid until the day after his mother’s funeral, who died from non-covid heart failure.

I have not had covid that I could detect any symptom of.

My 92 year old mother, disabled by 3 strokes, has not had detectable Covid, but just recently is facing pacemaker malfunction.

Although I am self educated on viral genetics,
I feel I can make a “good guess” how to modify specific genes on Covid
to make it spread easier, and also how to make it much more deadly.

My guess is that at a minimum 100,000+ people on earth also now know how to make Covid easier to spread AND more deadly,
That is bad to think about.
I guess it is also true about Smallpox, the only disease presently “wiped out.”

On the upside
knowledge about how to create vaccines has been rapidly advanced by all that has happened.
General medical knowledge of how to treat illness has advanced.

my wife and i have been very lucky to NOT have contracted it.
we both have severe health issues, so both of us have gotten all the shots available.
we practice the distance thing, plus wash our hands a ton.
eventually though, we will both possibly get some version of this damn thing, and if we do, i pray it will be a mild case.
however, it's possible even a mild case will do us in. she has COPD, and i have MS and other maladies.

I had it in April of last year. Thought it was a stomach bug for a few days, then felt like flu for a few days. After a week, I went and got tested...had to get tested to be out of work that long.
It sucked, but so does the flu. Got over it. Neither my kids or my wife contracted it from me, so I don't believe it's nearly as contagious as many think.

Both of my kids (5 and 7 years old) had it roughly 6 months after I did. Sent home from school w/ cold-like symptoms, tested positive. Stayed home for a week and played outside the whole time. If not for the test result, I'd say it was nothing more than a cold. Runny nose and 99 degree fever.

My wife hasn't had it. She worked throughout the "shutdown" at a substance abuse treatment facility.

My family isn't vaccinated...and won't be.

Knock on wood but not one person of my family, friends or enemies have died from covid. 5 have had mild covid, no ventilators just stayed at home a few days till tested negative.

Every year since 15 from heart doc and vascular surgeon, (lower aorta stent put in) stress test, tread mill and nuclear, sonic test each year since procedure. I’ll push for more test this summer when I see them again.

I'm now at about the 3 week point. At 59 I do feel "sluggish" and my job is very physical. Not brick physical but maybe carpenter physical. I'm at about 90% I'd say. Slight runny nose. Most of the coughing phlegm gone. But every morning my throat is a bit raw and i wonder "is it back". We have Carlisle in a month, busy at work, sold our house so have to move to the island house BEFORE Carlise (tahts a good thing). I've been CRASHING when I get home and the wife lets me sleep all night in the chair watching the news.

I caught it October 2020 , 1st 5 days were pretty rough, never felt like I was going to die .. but, I've been thru similar stuff when I had to airplane travel often .. every time I flew, came home .. sick for 5 days after .

This was a bit different , I would get this tastes' and smell , like almost battery acid , or at least fresh dirt , some things I could taste some I could not , slept 12-15 hours every day , after being awake for 5-6 or so heavy fatigue , back to bed ..

I went back to work in 7 days , almost every Friday at 2-3 pm .. that was it, that awful smell and taste again, headaches , fatigue .. often felt like I could not make it home , that lasted all the way till February 2021 and it stopped, everyone once in awhile the fatigue still hits me , not quite as severe

So 3 days in I went to a CVS Urgent Care which was one of only 1800 places in the country that was giving out the Covid antiviral drugs, Paxlovid. Gotta get it within 5 days of symptoms. The antivirals are suppoosed to stop the virus from replicating and thus lessen the symptoms. But IF what I had would have been worse without taking those 3 horse pills twice a day, I don't know that I'd be here typing this cause I was still darn sick. I've had Pneumoinia a few times and still worked. Once when I had Pneumonia for a couple weeks I went to urgent care and they wanted to call an ambulance to take me to ER. I told them I CANT AFFORD THAT. I have a brutally high deductible and walking thru the ER doors is $5000!!!!!!! HEALTH CARE / HOSPITALS are a rip off. 99% are condescending and look at you like a Ferrari payment not a human.

Anyway I tested negative for Covid after 1 week of mostly sleepless nights taking Ibuprophen for the terrible headaches (my PA daughter said to switch between Ibuprophen (Motrin) and Acetaminophen (Tylenol) every 4 hours) and constantly spitting my own salivia because I could NOT even swallow that let alone food and drink was excruciating. I stayed away from work/family for another week.

I got a perscription of Amoxicxylin (SP?) because I was sure I had Step Throat (have had that many times before). I took the whole corse of antibiotics (like you're supposed to)

Bad thing is that this Omicron has so many variants that we are all gonna get it and many variants many times like the different strains of flu. Most people dont die from the flu but a lot do. Think this Omicron will be the new EXTRA, YEAR ROUND "flu" and it will be more deadly than the flu because it's new to our bodies.

My PA daughter in the ER says people say "I wish I had go the shot" just before they die. Kinda late then cause as bullet proof as we all think we are, we're not.

I'm on day 7 and feel better, still coughing up some yellow stuff, definitely don't have much energy and my sleep has gone to crap. I retired last month after working 12 hour swing shifts, while working I was always tired from lack of rest. About a week before we left on vacation I had started sleeping all night, getting up early and felt good. Now I feel like I am back on swing shifts and was awake at 0215 this AM. I'm also very irritable.

They say that because they are dying and only because they are dying. Some die without the the shot and some die because of the shot.

Yep! My PA daughter rarely...if ever... sees ANYONE right before they die and she works urgent care.

Can’t believe the wife and I still haven’t caught it. Lucky I guess.

Huge mistakes have been made.

Huge mistakes continue to be made.

It is a huge mistake being made right now
to not intensely study
the people who did not get infected at all.

To do this it has to be determined
who got a very mild un-noticed case
and separate these from
those who truly show no signs like antibodies, T-cells, and so forth.

England and Israel stand out as making less of this huge mistake.
