Misc Isle of Man TT road race stats I just checked: - Fastest Average Lap - 135.xx MPH - Fastest Top Speed - 206+ MPH - Number of riders killed over the history of the event - 253 Not just riders killed--also spectators, pit attendants, marshals, etc. Heck, 2 riders have died on the parade lap over the years!

if i were astraddle one of those bikes, i would probably fall over, and the bike would need at least two guys to get it off of me. and that's just standing still. about one blip of the throttle, and the bike would be out from under me. still requiring at least two guys to pick me up.

I used to believe I was a decent rider when I was younger, but I know for a fact I was pretty much 1/10th the rider that the slowest guy there is. I would like to spectate someday.
