With a very heavy heart I have learned that Vic Calvert [owner Carolina Classic Restorations] has passed away. he was truly one of a kind. for those who had the pleasure to know him, he was honest and willing to go the extra mile to restore Mopars to the very best level humanly possible. I had just spoke with him the evening before and he was working late again. He had so many plans and was really excited to be working with David Wise on a new platinum level restoration and was on the very edge of becoming an exceptional leader in his field. Vic was only 52-3 years old. I know his family could use the prayers. gone way to soon...

Well, that sucks. And way too young, too.
What I've seen of his/their work looked very nice, IIRC.

That is a terrible loss. Everyone was raving about the hemi Challenger he restored and showed at MCACN a few months ago.

Great customer.
as far as i know he had a heart attack and died. i talked with him the night before about the last few things we needed to finish up my car. he was very busy. he had some really great things coming up and was telling me all about them. vic was working so hard to get where he was! such a shame. Even so, he took time out for his son about [12 years old] and made sure they had plenty of time together. truly a great loss .
