slightly knowing a couple of magazine authors, i have been told that sometimes it can be a while for articles to appear, due to many factors. page count, editor decisions, other articles deemed more important, etc. sometimes, the articles just disappear, are misplaced, or just forgotten about. this doesn't happen very often, but does happen. all this was told to me back in the magazine heyday. with today's electric content, who knows what can happen.
