A bunch of pussified panicking pansies who have never heard that sound before tied up emergency lines.
Back in the 70s and early 80s Illinois Air National Guard F4 Phantoms based in Springfield would fly low and fast over the Illinois river between Beardstown and Meredosia...the sonic booms were common and there were no thumb-suckers tying up phone lines back then.
