I was wondering if anyone knew if the nut itself was a hardware store item or a specialty nut where I would need to locate a used one? The reverse lamps and seatbelt lamps apparently use the same nut. Anyone know of a vendor then?

I've only seen them sold as assemblies with everything included. GATE AJAR lamps used the same bezel and nut/washer, too...

You could buy a trashed used on on eBay just to get the nut, or buy one from a hardware store, though I doubt you could find one as thin as the original nut.
