I don't remember how far I'd gotten with it when you saw it, but here's the pics of it with the final mods and in the condition it was sold in. 61 pics so better be bored and need something to do. And yes, I really did try to keep it that clean, wheelwells took a couple hours each, so I'm slow...

Wow you know a guy is desperate and hit rock bottom when he is stealing a Saturn...

It was in 1999 so the car was only three years old, and it was a nice SC2 the wife really loved it... frown

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I don't know, I was reluctant to contact him for a follow up, that's all I got. I assume since he used the words total loss it was recovered severely damaged or parted. It seems to me to be too soon to declare it lost, maybe one of the insurance guys knows the criteria they use for lost?

Typically unrecovered after 30 days = total loss.

Honestly, the way these kids beat on stuff and destroy it these days, if someone stole something of mine (unless its found within a couple of hours which might make it debatable), I hope they die in it. I won't want it back anyway. Let the insurance company pay off the total, it would never be the same to me again.

Someone else can buy it from the insurance and repair it, I don't care. Gene
