Meanwhile, I need to set seven clocks (not including the microwave and a couple of automatic timers), then five vehicles all of which have different procedures, some requiring consulting the manual no matter how many years I've been doing them! I wish they'd just leave it on DST all year.

I only change 2 clocks, the coffee maker and the oven. Don't much really care what time it is, or even what day is anymore.
I miss Publix subs though.

I dislike Daylight Saving Time.
I have read most scientific studies about DST, running to hundreds of pages, and dense statistical analysis.

DST does not save energy.
The period after a DST changes does show significant accident changes.

DSL does benefit the $ sales of some businesses.

My opinion is that going on DST all the time might be a political possibility,
but doing away with it has too many opponents who are willing to make large $ political contributions.
