I went 8.4x with the Procharged motor so the chassis cert wasn't good enough. Started out to redo the chassis and it got out of control. It's a whole new car now, only things from the old set-up is the rearend and the front disc brakes, lol. Running a Mopar A8 motor with twin turbos now. Finally got it out in July this year.

That thing was angry in the first video! That is one nice car...running really good too! No doubt that's an 8 sec car.

Thank you! I'm trying to tell it like I experienced it, full of humility. This is the slip from the last pass where you can see and hear in the video how 'soft' that was in comparison both leaving and RPM 'when it's on plane' LOL...the numbers tell a story. I lifted to a 5.68 at 115, my 60ft and 330 were soft. I feel very confident it'll 5.5x or better which would take near 825HP but that could require me to take the hood off and tune. I do have some good pieces in this build. I have a video of the playback that I'll load later for critique but one good thing i noticed is that fallback was around 6700. I wonder where i should shift in RPM??? Insight appreciated here. Maybe it would like nearer 8000 in the traps? It's been mentioned here and Cab you are spot-on...that was [censored] driving on my part but i did have the presence AFTER i got back into it to abort. All i can say is what i remember going on is on the Tbrake it felt stronger at and after the hit and i wanted some more of that LOL. Wes, you were right in you saying it's probably going to ride out good. It is way beyond what i expected so far. Tony I have always planned to run in Josh's series no matter so, minimum I'll be in the lanes there, most likely N/A.

Feel free to comment about my reaction time. One of my buddies said i got to run it to the 1320 'just to see' what it'll run. I'm still holding firm that I don't want to push this block to an early grave when i know the 660 tells me pretty much what to expect. He continued to push so, I said I'll be willing to wager the value of this engine in a heads-up 1/4 mile race with any 8.90 car and I'll footbrake...I'm having fun now!
