Anyone actually do one of these conversions? I just put fresh bulbs in my car after one burned out and I'm REALLY concerned with the level of illumination we've become accustomed to with modern vehicles. Classic Industries has a full LED board you swap in instead of an LED bulb replacement. Kinda thinking about biting the bullet. Thoughts? I saw a video of an install, they looked really good, but it was from one angle and in a garage. so...... dunno how I feel. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/1968/plymouth/roadrunner/parts/mb1989.html

If you want to keep incandescent bulbs, these are the way to go. A lot brighter than the old bulbs, 43 candlepower vs 32. Genuine Honda 34906-SL0-A01 12V Bulb, here is a link on ebay.. https://www.ebay.com/itm/113935902916?A lot cheaper on RockAuto too if you need to make an order. fixed link..

A lot cheaper on RockAuto too if you need to make an order. RockAuto comes up as a Wagner Bulb instead of a Stanley?

It really depends on the lens configuration, as to how to convert our old lights to LED's. I swapped all my bulbs with LED bulbs in both my '68 & '70 Mopars. I used LED bulbs from Superbright LED's. I picked "like" color LED's in each application ie, red LED's in red lens lights & yellow in amber lens lights etc. I love the results. I always use the bulbs with the most mini LED's on a given bulb, which really helps both brightness and diffusion. The side markers really brightened up as did all the rest. Its much cheaper than some custom light insert too. I did have to change my flasher in both cars and add a resistor kit for my turn signals, but the carry all that at Superbright. https://www.superbrightleds.com/
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

It looks like the ones from Rockauto have a blue tint in the glass, not clear like the others. For the price though, I would give them a try. The candlepower shows both to be the same.

Thanks for the update. The Honda bulbs look good too but those LEDs are very bright, wooo. Did you have to change your flasher for the LEDs? Yes! Two pin with a grounding wire from Amazon ($13). Make sure you double check your polarity at the car side of the pin out. The older flashers didn't care what way the current went, electronic flashers do!
