I couldn't get them all in Canada when I had motor trend. I forget if it stopped as they were working on the Christine project or when it was done.
I always liked watching it because of the mopar content. I think the earlier seasons were kind of annoying to watch because of the stupidity going on but were interesting because they actually did more work on camera. Now it seems that other then Mark being Mark it's a bit more serious but they mainly show the start of what they are doing and the end when something is going back together but not much of the middle of how the work progressed or how something got done.

The eye candy is really hot ... but I wonder if the cars drive as good as they look. When Mark was driving with his daughter it did not seem so.

I enjoy the latest version of GYC and like many record it and fast forward parts of it like the cartoon, but enjoy the cars and often have it on in the background when doing other stuff. CCC is good to and enjoyed FantonWorks when it was on and like Garage Squad but I think the new Squad this season will be unwatchable.

To me this is like everyone complaining that the new Charger was a 4 door. Just be happy that Chrysler was making a V8 RWD car again because it was a dark world before the LX Cars came out. Its a show that features Mopars, how many other shows on TV do that? I think at this point they have run out of ideas, are they on like season 16 now? You can only have so many ideas/episodes. To me its a background show...I'll put it on when I'm on the computer or working on something out in the garage.

It's still on? I stopped watching after he had AMD rebody their flagship car for them. I do find it funny that one of the "best Mopar restoration shops in the world" has a shop that is actually one of the best Mopar restoration shops in the world do their dashes for them.
As for the salt of the earth type, I guess I am one of the few that remembers him data-mining here, one of the members actually giving him his process on how to restore something, and then him passing the process off as his own on the show. Yep. What a class act.

I watched an episode the other night, where he said,in 1968 Plymouth came out with the GTX. I thought the GTX came out in 1967. People take what he says as gospel, and he is wrong quite a bit!

Lots of shows feature Mopars.

Roadkill and Roadkill Garage especially does tons of Mopars.

Car Fix does Mopars.

Garage Squad does Mopars

Heck even All Girls Garage does Mopars.

Or did you mean Mopars and nothing but Mopars?

I don't mind other makes because you know there is more than one way to do things and sometimes even the other guys have a better idea.

Occasionally, I watch a re-run on their YouTube channel. The first 2 or 3 seasons were just an offshoot of Orange County Choppers-type of humor and just terrible😆

I've actually tried to watch the show a couple of times. I usually make it a few minutes and then switch to a channel that has a show on about watching paint dry. NOBODY can listen to that clown for more than a few minutes without getting sick to their stomach. Thought I would be interested due to the subject matter, but the head guy makes it totally unwatchable.

Mark told a friend of mine who has his car there for the last 6 1/2 years that he does "driver quality" restorations. You read that right,"driver quality" restorations. Look at that burnt tan 70 Coronet convert that Mark called the "Million Dollar Car". That car was at the Spring Fling and was torn apart with dozens of mistakes, in a later episode Mark said the car was back to have all that corrected. I saw the car in the background with the hood off and lots of yellow pieces of tape all over it. Interesting to note that GYC has never has a car in OE judging.

I think I watched about 1 1/2 episodes of that show way back when, I couldn't deal with the head idiot's antics, so I never watched again. I can't believe the show is still on.

'67 is an abbreviation of 1967
67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet
They are not interchangeable.

I watched it occassionly but when MW stiffed me for payment on one of his cars (Q5 69 GTX) he built poorly and I was asked to fix as the owner is in the Chicago area, I quit caring at all what his life is about. Sucks because it IS a Mopar build show, but Mark is not a man in my book... mad

I can't watch Mark for more than a few minutes without getting annoyed at his antics. And I've heard him spout Mopar facts that are dead wrong.

It gets annoying, but I can watch it just fine. Where else can you see MoPars restored to what to me seems correctly, no 20" wheels, or slammed to the ground?

I'll take it. And Fantom(?) Works stays pretty much stock, and restores some weird stuff. Although rarely a MoPar seen, I like Chasing Classic Cars as well

I didn't hear that but it wouldn't surprise me. He seems to be focused on the 1968-70 model years of B and 70-71 E body cars.
