I have two questions 1. How do I determine if I have a 727 or 904 tranny? The truck is a 360, 1986 D150 Royal. Question 2. I need to change the shift points. I have installed headers a, new cam, Edlebrock Air gap and 800cfm carb along with a 3 inch single exhaust and free flowing muffler. The original set up when in Drive gets to 3rd someplace around 20-25mph. I have read the governor is a good place to start before I do any other tranny modifications. Who sells the parts or has the info for these questions? tnx psg

Adjusting the TP will raise the shift points to a degree, after that you need a governor kit. A&A and CRT offer governor kits.
