Wow that car looks mean! Hopefully they don't run over any poo or needles.

I sure hope not, might as well use one of the electric Mustangs if they're gonna do that. The 'cuda was a big part of the show. I wonder if any other original cast members are in it?

I loved this show as a kid. I will definitely be watching this.
Got to disagree on the Cuda. If you're going to pull the original car out of mothballs you might as bring the actors back. Reboots aren't 1:1 remakes. Modern Challenger is still keeping it Mopar.

well it wouldn't be any more unlikely to be diving a 50 year old Hemi 'cuda that it was a 20 year old one, or a red and white Torino.

Surprised the residents of SF let them use a big mean V8 instead of a yellow Prius or maybe a Nissan Leaf. And you this is not a reskinned Prius how? You know even Nascar uses canned sound effects during the races, right? Its entertainment, its an effect, its make believe.
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

I got contacted about transporting the original Cuda convertible out for filming, staying the whole time, then bringing it back east but it didn't fit my schedule. Besides, I have no interest in going to Kommiefornia anytime soon... Can you share any details? If I remember, someone on here owns or owned one of the cars from the show. All of the more recent spy photos show Don Johnson in the yellow Demon convertible.

I see Nash found Joe. If Don & Cheech aren't in the remake, I really have no interest in watching it. Some things just aren't the same with different people. First one that comes to mind is The Wild, Wild West. Loved that show as a kid and still catch it on occasion. I have never seen the movie with Will Smith. Just couldn't bring myself to watch it. Not sure anyone could fill Robert Conrad's shoes. Second would be the Miami Vice movie. It was OK but not a patch on the series. The Challenger would make sense with maybe a cameo of the 'cuda resting in Nash's garage. Tim

Jim...Is JB in on it again? Nope, MR... If we are thinking of the same MR, I don’t know if there’s a mopar forum that still allows him to comment. He’ll be the only one posting in the mopar bread on 4Chan

Worst movie on the planet. And we like Will Smith. It was just a bad movie. Even Robert Conrad said so when he accepted the Razzy for it.

Likely it will be as disastrous casting as the Magnum PI and Hawaii 5-0. main character will be some feminized 5'-2" actor. Coulldnt watch either of those more than a minute into.

I agree with the Magnum reboot but I loved the new Hawaii 5-0. It lasted for 10 seasons (much longer than most these days) with good ratings, the only reason it stopped was Alex O'Loughlin (McGarret jr) had too many injuries filming it to continue. BTW -he was 6'1" and certainly not feminized on the show. In one episode Danny's brother was murdered, chopped up, and shoved into a 55-gal drum.
