working on my shopping list and need to know your opinions on which type of pad I need to use. My original was in such poor condition soooo many years ago if I could remember what it looked like Im sure I would have been unable to determine what it was.

I like the idea of the molded but is that a GM thing that found its way into our part of the world? I just never payed enough attention to unrestored cars when I had the chance.

No, my '69 b-bodies had molded pads originally. Can't speak to the other cars.

Ditto A34's response, also for '68 B bodies. Retainer clips are rectangular stamped metal with barbs, and a couple of holes in them. N/A with Air Grabber, of course. Part of an option group that included full undercoating, IIRC, so it would be called out on the broadcast sheet.
