4---Looks like from Moparts editing, you'll have to guess the name of the car unless you already know it. Funny, it's not actually a dirty word, but I suppose it could be construed as one with the way the government is these days. That's a hint in itself...

Barry and Mike from Hamtramck Registry have opened a new photo section. The majority of these photos are never seen before photos of the Mopar Missile. You all are cordially invited to stop in and take a look. Missile Historical photos are my passion, if you have any, let me know. I will scan them to a disc and return the disc and photo to you, FREE. All I require is that I be allowed to put them on the photo section and share them with the rest of the Mopar Fanatics. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/vintageRacing/missile/Missile.shtmlStewart

The AWB and standard wheelbase orange and white Pee Wee Wallace cars are two seperate cars. I've seen a photo of the two cars setting side by side. If I find it, I'll post it. I always thought they were the same car also. The lettering is slightly different also.

I have always liked even the 'plain-jane' Mopar stockers circa say 66-69, 383, 440 and smallblock versions, and the street Hemi A/stockers of same time frame. Always thought Jere Stahl probably had one of the most dominant cars of the era with his 66 Hemi Belve, but don't ever see much about that one. Won nearly every race it ever ran. Stahl's SS/B Belve circa 67-68 was also a real stormer for awhile. From ETs I've seen on the SS/B car, it was running 2-3 tenths faster than anyone else for a good portion of that year. I'll post a couple pics of the cars I'm speaking of if I have any.

Stahl SS/B-I've read this car was running 10.30s right off the trailer(in '68) when virtually everyone else was in the 10.60s. Then Stahl inexplicably quit, til 70 coming back for PS. Don't know how true that is.

Good choice Bob. Pre 70 car and it's got a 383. I've read that was a winning car for many years. Ted Spehar built that one also I see. I found the Stahl SS/B pics, but for some reason cannot find even one of the dominant '66 Street Hemi Belve.

Can any of you show anything other than PROSTOCK??? There was life before the 70's. History, way before the 70's, you young pup's.
How about enough of the belly aching? - if you don't like what you see then move on, or create your own thread - HISTORIC RACE CAR PICTURES ("60s ONLY") Jeez, if I had to post about everything I didn't like or knew was BS I'd have to quit my job for the time to do so. Stewart, Fred, and others take a lot of their time to post these cool pictures so how about not dumping on it if you don't approve?
