1969 B body application.
Not skins, full quarters.

Are they playing the name game on us?
Because it sure seems like it.

Trying to do my research and came across some confusing info.

I remember hearing Sherman and Goodmark were bought out.
Sherman's formerly informative website is completely gone.
Goodmark doesn't list full quarter panels for the vehicle anymore.

Now I'm comparing old listings for Goodmark full quarter panels (which I'm aware aren't available)
and they look to be exactly the same thing.

Old Goodmark:

Old Goodmark:

Current Sherman:

(Same marketing picture as old Goodmark, could it be any more obvious?)

What's going on here shruggy

Sherman's was sold a couple years ago to a company in Chicago. Their building is at the end of my street. It was convenient to pick up sheetmetal and not pay shipping. Once it was sold just buying stuff over the counter became an ordeal as everything had to go through Chicago first.
They never actually manufactured anything. They just reboxed stuff others were making. They may have helped pay for tooling, but nothing was manufactured on site, though they had plenty of room to do so.

I have an old quarter skin I bought from them almost 40 years ago. Comparing that to what we can get from Goodmark and AMD now is mind blowing.
