Just wondering if these mirrors on my Charger are definitely for a 70 because when I look on Year One to order the drivers side remote one it looks a lot different, apart from mine being painted obviously , the one in the link to doesn’t seem to have the base that attaches to the car ?

Thanks

I'm no expert, but I was told that the sport style like those (black one in your pics) are actually 70 and later A-Body mirrors. shruggy

SNK-EYZ is mostly correct. The mirror on your car was available on B bodies mid year 1970 along with the A bodies. The mirror you ordered is not it. I believe they're referred to as rally mirrors but make sure you order it paint ready, not chrome.

Thanks , so do they do a chrome remote one that will fit mine ? I’m only ordering a new one because someone painted it black , maybe I’ll just paint it white body colour ? Passenger side too

They were two versions primed then painted body color and Chromed.

70 is AT LEAST ON E BODIES a 1 year model mirror, and I think is the same on the A/B bodies, being the passenger side a bit more elongated as far I recall... or something like that

None passenger mirror was remoted controled untill 1975, when passenger side mirror got cables up to the center are of the dash.

and... why YR1 ? there are better sellers around. unless you are using some 30% discount code of course

I put that style on a 70 Road Runner Convertible that I built in the early 80's.

Everyone kept asking why I put A-Body mirrors on it.
Why, because I liked the way they looked. laugh2

Pretty sure 70 B body should be painted body color. Do not think that style mirror was offered in chrome for the B body. I have them on my 70 Charger....rare to see them on these cars.
