That is funny.
Announcers used to have those bass-deep, Baritone voices that sounded so good. So many dudes today sound like soy-boy queens.

It's also being played back at the wrong speed.

I've seen a lot of these before. AMC utilized the Commpak film cartridge system for a while, but GM and Chrysler used the Technicolor Cartridge which I believe this is sourced from.

Some of the Chrysler ones appeared on Youtube about 10 years ago, and the announcer sounded like this. Youtubers like Osborn Tremain have found better ways to play them back and have the pitch adjusted correctly. While the announcers' voice is relatively deep, it's not quite Darth Vader like it is here.

Ahh the world of Youtube. Videos can have the audio slowed down or if it fits- the visual sped up. Ive seen motorcycle canyon carving videos sped way up and 99% of the viewers cannot tell the difference.
