It was a bit hard to understand if thats the one your thinking of, maybe he self whacked it or was there replies whacked as well?

Ok, It appears to be completely gone. I wasn`t exactly sure what he was asking or saying. Apparently others did.

The way I read his his post is that he wasn't very computer savvy and wasn't going to buy a new computer to check moparts since this was the only site he had problems with.

Problems in the sense of the infolinks and other ads that he couldn't figure out how to install adblocker software to stop the problems.

Another long time member lost, unfortunate in my opinion.

If the intrusive advertising ran him off he is not the first one.

I only access this site on my home PC, but have AdBlocker and see no infolinks.
I would think a similar deal is available for smartphones.
I know some folks were driven off by the principle of the thing, which is a bummer.
But that's an easy fix, so I find it a bit baffling.
Bottom line, Infolinks wasn't a good move for retaining some knowledgeable & helpful members, which to me is the whole point of a forum.
I understand the revenue side, but it has come at a cost.

Honestly, I find myself spending more time at other mopar sites besides this one now. Just too many wise guys and the knowledgeable guys are not here anymore. The info links have hurt the site. But hey, “ it’s all about the money, boys” , says big Dan T. . Right before you get hit in the head with a tree limb.

I agree that most of the real knowledgeable guys aren`t around here like they were just some years ago. General Mopar forums seem to be slim pickings nowadays. Most are very slow or about dead. Mopar specific forums (A Body, B Body etc) seem to be doing pretty well but it appears most people are more and more moving over to Facebook sites even though I prefer forums like this one.
