Six. Paring down to two. Planned to sell them this summer but the Covid stuff messed with that plan. Will wait out the winter and try in the spring.

As always, just the Demon. All I really want. It's kind of a clone of the car I owned just out of high school.
There are plenty of others I like, but having a stable of cars isn't realistic for me....owning & maintaining what I have fits well into my budget & allows me to enjoy other aspects of life. I have an aversion to living beyond my means, so incurring debt for toys has never been a thing for me.

Zero, with no plans to buy another. How long has it been since you got rid of the wagon. I really liked that thing.

Yes, no doubt Rusty there used to be some sweet Iron on here. I don't think the cars went away, it's the Members that left. Thank Moparts for that. I have not sold anything for a new Mopar. The only thing they could do that would change my mind is if a new Viper were to come out, or another SRT Regular Cab 2wd Ram with a 6 speed were to ever happen. By the looks of the new Ram, I might as well take that ugly thing off the list and just hope for a Viper. Although 480 to 800hp Hemis put a smile on my face, I am completely unimpressed by the 4700 pound Water Buffalos they come in. The more Dodge keeps ramming these big, ugly contraptions down my throat, the more I am drawn to the Ford GT350 or GT500. When everyone zigs, I guess I am zagging? I have been adding to the fleet over the years and am now up to 14. Still have several to go before I'm done.

Just one. Would like to add another as a driver be it an older car or even a clean V8 Dakota or swb Ram. Most of what I see for sale is either show car nice, so I'd feel bad about daily driving it (and honestly most of the restored stuff is too expensive anyways), or on the opposite end of the spectrum they are neglected basket cases that need months worth of work and $$$ to make drivable and reliable. Just not a lot of inbetween cars out there. I want something that I won't care if it gets rained on, but not so scruffy that cops pull me over and the first thing they ask is if it's insured and can they look in the car for drugs.

Thank you all for sharing. Looks like some members still have their collections and others have downsized which is understandable too. There is times when I think it would be nice to go back in time and have a hoard of them and then there are other times when I think nah. I still regret not buying that 69 Charger in a field back in 1999 for $1500.

Still have my two. The 67 Barracuda is just got all the metalwork done after sitting for 10 years and is going into epoxy. The 69 Bee is still a roller like I bought it in 2003 but I have a load of parts and good intentions. Until we started on the Barracuda in August, most of my efforts for the last 5 years have been going into the Cyclone but that isn't a mopar.

two, or four, depending on what vintage really means. my 69 charger i have had since 1970, and my hotrod 33 dodge humpback panel truck [the eternally endless project] since around 1974 or so. or add in my wife's 1994 chrysler concorde [it's in VERY nice condition] and my "bus", a 1999 caravan [used as a truck].

I still have 3 vintage Mopars and all '69's with 440's. Funny thing was back in '69 I went to buy my first car and wanted a '69 Dart GTS with a 383. Found a sidebar article while reading a car magazine on the 383 GTS (doing buying research for it) on the M-code 440 GTS. Got laughed out of my local Dodge dealer when I asked about it (sales guys "No way will Dodge put a 440 in a compact car"). My mom and dad didn't want me to get a "compact car" (Dart) with 7 kids in the family so down to the local Plymouth dealership to order a 383 Road Runner. Had the RR for over 10 years and sold it . I just had to get another '69 Road Runner in the early '90's so the search was on. Found a Y4 Spanish Gold met A12 Road Runner coupe and purchased it and then set out to find ALL of the things I need to get it back to original. Accomplished 99.9% of that and then ran across a '68 RR and actually finished that. And low and behold a friend needs some money to get a real off-road (racing) motorcycle "dirt bike" and asks if I can help him out? I just happened to work for (34-years) for a very capable motorcycle manufacture (capable dirt bikes for sure and great adventure bikes) when he asks me if I want to buy his '69 Dart GTS M-CODE Full circle and I now have basically the original car I wanted in 1969. I sell the '68 and get an unmolested 1-owner all original '69 440 GTX 4-speed in rough but solid shape and restore it and love the car. So now I have 3 1969 440 cars and wish I could go back in time and do the biggest burnout in the parking lot of that old hometown Dodge dealership in the M-Code Dart GTS 440 that "No way will Dodge ever put a 440 in a compact car" MikeR 1969 Plymouth GTX 440, 4-speed,Y2 Sunfire Yellow 1969 Plymouth RM21 Road Runner A12 M-code 440 3X2 Y4 Spanish Gold Metallic 1969 Dodge Dart GTS A13 440 M-code F8 Green

Just one - my ‘67 Belvedere II. The most Mopars I ever owned at one time was 2, though.
'67 is an abbreviation of 1967 67' is an abbreviation of 67 feet They are not interchangeable.

Wow, cool stuff. Can we see the '74 Monaco please? Somebody Bluemobiled it but its an original U-Code 440 ex-Washington State Patrol car. It'll go back to that eventually...its pretty far down the list at the moment.

Uhh, well I guess "Vintage" would be the 70 Sport Satellite . . . but soon I will have more as time goes by : 02 Cummins 2500 6spd short box (bought new, only 73k miles on it now, never winter driven), 04 Crossfire (bought new, only 22k miles on it now, never winter driven), 06 Magnum RT AWD (had since new, 134k miles on it, still like new!) . . . and a couple "other" cars . . . but might have to do a little "clearing out" to be closer to that elusive "retirement" . . .

Depends on what "vintage" you're talking about. I assume 1960s and 1970s. In that case I just have my 2 1972 Coronets. I know they're not very interesting to most people but they're the only cars from that vintage I care to own.
No longer taking $h!t from anyone!

Depends on what "vintage" you're talking about. I assume 1960s and 1970s. In that case I just have my 2 1972 Coronets. I know they're not very interesting to most people but they're the only cars from that vintage I care to own. I'd love to have one of those. Best looking 4-door Mopars out there, IMO. I didn't intend to have 2 of them, but a friend of mine offered me the closer one for a very reasonable price a couple of months ago. I bought it with the intention of parting it to restore the other but I couldn't bring myself to do it since it's a solid driver.

One. And it's on the chopping block destined for a new home in the good ol' U S & A once all this BS is over with.
No real plans to get anything else as everything is just getting way too expensive. When even an A-body is tickling 40k, I'm sorry.... I'll have my daily, the Mustang and a couple AMC's. Truth be told, the cost of things and the lack of availability on parts is just getting to be such a downer that dare I say I'm getting near the point of being done playing with cars.

Nope, I'm not quitting...it's too much fun wading through barns, pastures and backyards pulling this stuff out I think this sums it up for me too... There's hardly a car I'd not be interested in, in some way. I have my wife drive on trips cuz my head is always swiveling, looking around in people's yards, see what shiny objects there are to see. I love visiting salvage yards for cars, parts, see what new "treasures" they have brought in.. So we have two Mopars, and my pay grade over the years has allowed us the privilege of indulging in exotic cars too.. but the method is the same: Buy them distressed and fix them up to keep forever. Cheers, - Art

Brings back memories . . .mom actually WON a 4dr Coronet at bingo way back . . . didn't keep it long, apparently cause my sis and I were "too close" and fighting in back seat on long trips !! LOL . . . even then I remember the car being a V8 (318 I am sure) and thinking how great it was - mom & dad used to have old Datsun stn wagon at the time . . .

Wow, cool stuff. Can we see the '74 Monaco please? Somebody Bluemobiled it but its an original U-Code 440 ex-Washington State Patrol car. It'll go back to that eventually...its pretty far down the list at the moment. Even though they BB'd it, I LOVE IT, because it's an actual U code Police Package! So many fakes out there! Thanks for pics!

I know the earlier ones had a grill in the hood if it was turbo but that year I don't remember. If you look on Facebook Marketplace there are a lot of good deals. Some people need the money and because it isn't driven by people watching shill bidding on televised Auction shows the prices are more normal.

I'm not sure what the current count is between the projects and the parts cars. But I do know the last time I was at the DMV the clerk stared at the monitor and said, "You take up two screens!"

These I've all restored, minus the modern car of course. It does take some work just maintaining them, so don't know if more are in the cards. I would love to find a nice E-body convertible. Wow. How big is your garage?

In the second generation the offset bump in the hood meant it had a turbo. Winner! Winner! '87 Shelby Z. Turbo II Intercooled. 175-horse. Last year for no airbags, and I even swapped in the really cool 4-spoke Steering wheel Mother Mopar offered around that time. Everything works now from the A/C to the cassette deck. I'd love to keep it as when I was in high school in the 90's, THIS was the car you wanted. I lucked into it like I usually do, but, can't keep 6 cars anymore and since my Uncle died, I can't use the warehouse anymore for my junk.

Thank you, definitely a wild bunch of options on this one. Was lucky enough to get it from a private collector some years back. It's one of only 3 original V6V R/T s that I have known about over the years ( anyone knows any others please let me know ) And the only one I know of with orange/black "houndstooth" interior. I think the combo is awesome. As well it is a Formal Roof car, so one of about 100 R/T s noted with that option. Also has wide front chrome trim, and also coded for front and rear rubber bumpers on the broadcast sheet ( if anyone has a set please let me know ! ) From what I am told you couldn't have rubber bumpers and wide chrome trim, but I have seen a 71 with both and is supposed to be factory but cannot confirm. Interior optioned with Rallye gauges, AM /FM radio with console mounted cassette player with dictaphone and 3 speaker dash. It's has the original 340 motor with A/C and a console automatic ( don't know any formal roof cars that are manual shift - but would love to know if any exist ) .

I have just one. That is all I have room for and all I can afford to keep. My dream of having a 1970 Challenger R/T will never happen. It was gonna be my retirement car, but due to health reasons, just making it to retirement (just over 3 years from now) would take a miracle from God.

I can only guess that the reason your rubber bumpers are missing is because it looked so different with the wide hood molding? Have a couple of '71's myself, hope you change your mind and keep yours.

One. And it's on the chopping block destined for a new home in the good ol' U S & A once all this BS is over with.
No real plans to get anything else as everything is just getting way too expensive. When even an A-body is tickling 40k, Love the Daytona. Turbo? I know the earlier ones had a grill in the hood if it was turbo but that year I don't remember. If you look on Facebook Marketplace there are a lot of good deals. Some people need the money and because it isn't driven by people watching shill bidding on televised Auction shows the prices are more normal. Looks like a 1987 or 1988 Shelby Z. Your Shelby is very, very nice. I drooled over it when you had it listed for sale.

[quote=MONC] I can only guess that the reason your rubber bumpers are missing is because it looked so different with the wide hood molding? Have a couple of '71's myself, hope you change your mind and keep yours. Nope don't plan on getting rid of the wide chrome trim. May add the rubber bumpers though if I can find them

Great looking Daytona. I have a voice in the back of my head I need one of these or maybe a Shadow instead. For the times they're from these were fun cars .

I've owned 4 Daytonas in the past. 2 were 1987 ShelbyZs; one 5 speed and one automatic.

I still have the two C-bodies in my signature. Both are currently down, but still registered and insured because Maryland. I didn't intend for either to sit as long as they have. The '67 needs a carb rebuild (or an upgrade to a 4bbl), which I found out about after spending a bunch of money getting the tuneup I botched corrected. Last drove it in October 2019. The '68 had questionable oil pressure back in 2016, and I spent so much time screwing around on that that now it's got a bunch of 2016-vintage gas in it. Last drove it in 2017. At least I thought to put Sta-Bil in the '67 early on.
But I've got my Challenger.
What bothers me almost as much as both the Furys being, essentially, paperweights, is that other cars are calling me now. Sometimes 1960s-70s stuff (still want a '66-'67 Coronet), sometimes newer (low-mileage Shelby Charger in Georgia! 2100-mile '89 Daytona in PA! The occasional LeBaron ragtop!).

Loved my turbo Mopars, but they are one of the reasons that my Barracuda has been torn apart since 2007. Sold my last K-car derivative in 2011 or thereabouts and have no desire for another because I don't want another old car to take precedence of my A-body convertibles. Even the 2000 Durango is getting a little long in the tooth, but there's no budget for a replacement especially after buying a new car a the end of August. Maybe if get the job I have an interview for tomorrow we'll be able to upgrade to a newer Durango.

Your Shelby is very, very nice. I drooled over it when you had it listed for sale. It's not too shabby for sure. I've done all the mechanicals - it's 100% now, finally. Chased down all the electrical gremlins, the A/C has been redone and I even restored the tape player. I'll even throw in the dealer demo cassette and a selection of music!! If somebody were to lay down some fresh paint and adjust the windows, they'd have a near show-quality Daytona. It's still for sale, I've just not been advertising from lack of interest and all this COVID BS.

Don't feel too bad as my Trans Am is still plated for the exact same reason and it last ran in 2003. I'm working my way around to it but the Barracuda is going first. To report the progress on the Cuda, She got new rockers, trunk extensions, quarters, lower fenders, one new inner fender, rear valance, new rear shock mount, partial trunk floor, converted to 68 style gas straps, frame connectors, front floor pans, torque boxes, and various patches. The underside was epoxied and we sprayed with bedliner. Right now the inside is sanded and about to be epoxied. Strange as I bought this car to be a quick fix in 2004 while I saved up for the Bee. Good luck getting the C-bodies back on the road.

Well haven't been around for a long time but I have my Dart and a 78 B200 van. I don't really drive either one and they're parked behind the drive through gate in the backyard. Dart needs a carb rebuild and some wiring fixed, van has a fuel delivery problem and a current draw that drains the battery. Last time I had to move it I eventually had to pull the float cover on the bbd and fill it with gas to get it to run long enough to move it back in the parking area beside the house. I recently got lil sisters 06 Charger RT with 90k on it cheap so have been enjoying driving the surprisingly quick fat pig😎 My 95 Neon finally tossed the timing belt so I gave up on it and got the Charger. Hope everyone is doing good, been a ugly year but ok so far here. I had 5 cars for a long time but but we sold the 71 Scamp when we bought this house to pair down and cover the taxes.
