Met him at a Russo-Steele auction in the mid 2000's. They were selling one of the James Bond Aston Martins and he was there to help them. He posed for a couple of pictures and we talked for quite a while, nice guy and THE best James Bond ever! RIP SC!  Edit: Found the pic...

Actually my fav .... ENTRAPMENT.... with ZETA banJones...  Yeah, that is a fave, but he was not the reason to watch that particular movie.  He was great as Bond.

RIP Mr. Connery. You were the ultimate in COOL. He was the best James Bind even brought him back as his replacement was not so good. Other than that he beat on the ladies and gave lots of money to get rid of guns. So kinda a hypocrite from what he was portraying on screen as he used one and saved the other StrangeSo in those 2 things, I differ from him 100%

He was a great James Bond but played a lot of different roles in the 80s/90s which are worth remembering. No matter if as Malone in the untouchables or captain in hunting red october

I know this is likely considered old news, but nearly forgot that on my home desktop, this is my favorite background pic. It was taken from the 2006 Sebring 12hrs race on the Ulmann straight, likely during a caution as its the longest straight, and these cars get to over 160mph on that stretch. The car pictured finished 6th overall, 3rd in class behind its sister car, and a Vette. I suspect the Aston Martin Team owners also were Bond Fans.
