Before this piece gets shipped to my customer, here is a photo of the throttle cable barrel color-coding for cable 3418840, which is for 70 340+6 and 70-71 440+6.

So the color coding is rust color??? Am I missing something?

Not a chance.

It is brownish/orange paint.

The list so far:

Hemi: Light Blue (Thanks, Joe)

3418839 for 70-71 383/440 4 bbl.: Candy Red

3418840 for 70 340+6 and 70-71 440+6: Brownish/Orange

3577525 for 70-71 340 E-body: Hunter Green (still trying to confirm)

You are looking at an NOS original, in its original Chrysler package, with the original part number and inventory "pick" ticket on the front, that was just sold to one of my customers. There are no more left.

I will have to find it. I think it was 21.5" OAL.

The only markings on the barrel is the single 1/4" band of brown paint.

There is something that looks like a date code on the black plastic sleeve.
