Not sure what this large bracket/plate is for? My initial thought was part of some equipment used to service transmissions back in the day, but not sure. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for your help!

that's a rather interesting item, but i have no idea what it is.
as i NEVER throw anything away, i would be looking at the material it's made of, and thinking of what i could use it for in a future project. biggrin
anyway, back to the top for you.

My guess, Farm implement attachment mount/adapter.

I am not rich...but I get off my ass everyday to make sure I am not broke!

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

I think you are on the right track about transmission servicing fixture. The "L" shaped plate looks like someone's addition to use it for something else. shruggy

Unbolt the L or U shaped bent plate , It looks like it would slide into an engine stand to build / Set up a rear housing . Hard to tell the size of it ?
