Does ANYONE KNOW how CL flagging works? .... Yep. Someone posts an ad, and then acts like a chump, and in response, other people flag the ad to mess with said chump. As a CL novice, how/where is this "flagging" displayed or noted for others? Is the seller given the opportunity to give their side, ala Ebay feedback?
Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

Stock hit $95/share today. My 401k is looking sweet. [email][/email] Good for you nutT .... Mine hit 131 after splitting 4 for 1 I would love it if we woudl split again, but I don't think that's happening anytime soon. The last one, I think was 3 for 1 when we hit about $210.

If enough people flag the ad, it gets removed from Craigslist.

I believe it is the # of different IP addresses that flag the ad, or something along those lines. Did you see some of those other flags ? I reposted some of those really late nite .... You think THE RAGE MOB is up then to “attack” my posts ?

I believe it is the # of different IP addresses that flag the ad, or something along those lines. Yes, this. I've never seen 1 person pull down an ad. But if he links the auction to a few friends and they flag it, that seems to trigger it. A few years ago, there was a guy posting a bunch of gay XXX rated dvd pornos movies on CL, day after day, and in his pics, you could see close up details of the covers. It was obscene. I emailed some friends, and they all flagged it, and we kept getting it taken down, as it was not something I felt the world should have to look at. Maybe that's what Old Doc was selling too? Not sure.
