Guys!
Just had my Thompson / TRW Power Steering Pump rebuilt (from my 1966 Dodge Coronet 440).
I assume that they could rebuild the Federal and Saginaw pumps also.
Took about three weeks, and they did an excellent job!
I can post pictures if anyone is interested, and provide the vendor.
The Thompson / TRW Pump has the bigger notch on the back.

Makes perfect sense... didn't know I could advertise on here. I worked with Bob at the following address and phone number: USA PARTS SUPPLY 261 Industrial Blvd Kearneysville, WV 25430 Ph:304-724-6600 Fax:304-724-6660 www.usapartssupply.comThey were located close to my home so I was able to save the shipping over to their place. Then they drop shipped it directly to my home.

They tore it down, inspected it against all known specifications, resealed it using new o-rings and seals, then pressure tested it and repainted it.
They claimed that there were no "hard" parts available for the pump, so if it didn't pass the inspection, the process would have been aborted and my money returned less shipping.
In my case, the pump's internals were good, hence it passed their specs.
I removed the pulley prior to shipping, then realized with this type of pump, you need to remove the reservoir to re-install. (The pump has a solid shaft with no visible threads). So I had to provide the pulley for the rebuild.
All I know is that the pump has never been this quiet...

If all it needs is new seals and a shaft bushing, you can get those at your local parts store. They aren't hard to rebuild yourself. If the internals are damaged, that's another story. I have a 70 Challenger TA with what looks to be an original pump. (PS130) - I cant find rebuild parts at any of the local parts stores......Who did you get your parts from??
