According to my kids, when they were young, I am a "better cooker than mamma".

To which I told them "never tell you mamma that, I don't want to be the cook".

Made some killer chicken today garlic oil and lemon marinade.
Another good marinade is steak tips in Ventura French dressing and Montreal Steak Spice.

My wife is a very good cook and has taught me a bunch over 30+ years. I'm in charge of breakfast food(eggs, pancakes, french toast, etc)I love to grill and am still learning the smoker with my new Traeger. She does the rest. We both love home cooked meals......have no idea how some folks eat out everyday of the week.

Love to cook but get stuck in ruts (steak, chicken, pasta, repeat) so not wanting to stand in line to get into the grocery store back when the pandemic was at full steam I subscribed to the hello fresh (and others) food box delivery program. Yum! But now that things have cooled I canceled it and have gone back to buying my own groceries lol

And onions, seasoned steaks, ravioli, rigatoni, baked spaghetti and a few other dishes. Grilled racetrack burgers from last weekend

I love to cook as well and cook most meals for us. We get stuck in a rut as well but I like basic foods. We have a bunch of home grown tomatoes right now so I need to do something with them.

May I suggest a slice of bread, two slices of tomato, a slice of Land Of Lakes American cheese, and a dash of Sea Salt.

Wow, I feel inadequate!

I've always been pretty good at hot dogs and mac&cheese out of a box. That is what both kids ate every time the wife was gone and I had to cook (few times a year). I have expanded my horizons recently though. I've learned how to make waffles for the grand kids. up

Sounds good except for the cheese. Being lactose intolerant I don't eat much cheese.

I will have to look at that early in the morning, the internet sucks here. But thanks, it looks good.

I made it 6-7 months ago and was drooling as I ate it, it was that good. I don't have spasms eating very often, I did with that.

The meatballs are the golden gem, follow the recipe
