Someone had posted the difference between the Hemi throwout bearing retainers and the other more common retainers. IIRC, the Hemi retainer is longer. I thought I had saved the information but I cannot find it. Is there some way the original poster could repost the photos? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Thanks to Dodge, the Hemi retainer is SHORTER. So much for my memory.

The sleeve is only different for the direct drive deal. If you have a standard 143 tooth wheel and reduction starter you don't need a special sleeve twocents

Dodge, thanks so much. My car is a '67 Hemi GTX so I use the direct drive starter with the 172 tooth flywheel.

Why is there a difference? What does the starter have to with a throw out bearing? New info here
