Could this be an upcoming model? A modern Little Rex Express ?

Photoshop. Too many things about it that could never happen.

I'd say photoshop too. What you see through the door glass for seats and back window doesn't line up at all. FWIW I have been toying with the idea of building a modern version with a 6.4 Hemi. With all the SRT lineup that Dodge has had for years I don't understand why they don't offer a performance Ram

Really like that wheel design.

They did make a Ram 1500 R/T for a while but 395hp wasn't what I would call a performance engine. I had a 2013 R/T and it was ok but not spectacular. I added a tuner, headers, and cold air kit which helped a good bit.

Still not a fan of the new Ram's chevy hood... but that Truck rendering doesn't look bad at all.
FCA should consider making it.... they won't, but they should. smile

Exactly! one fact being that it actually looks good, the factory designers/decision makers won't be having any of that happen anytime soon...

They had the SRT-10. That was a performance truck for sure.

Could have saved some time and just used a regular cab HD. The cab on that thing looks like he used a Ford Courier.

I don't know if either of you own one, but I can assure you: they sound a LOT different when you are behind the wheel. twocents

wink

I don't know about the Dodge V10 but I have 1,000's of hours behind the wheel of a Ford Super Duty F450 with their V10. But standing on the street when one goes by at 3/4 + throttle it sounds like a V6 that has a miss on 2 cylinders.

Well at least the first year. I dunno that I'd call the crew cab version a performance truck.

Clearly I'm biased but I have a really hard time appreciating any modern interpretation of the Lil Red.

I have a V10, still sounds like I'm driving a UPS truck, even with a $2000 Borla SS exhaust system it didn't make any difference over the stock duals...

I don't care for the LRE treatment (door decals and stacks), but offer it blue and have some Bazooka tips under the rear bumper and I'd be in for one.
