My wife and I had a bucket list trip planned for Monterrey Car Week, it was a birthday gift from her to me. Already paid for our VIP show field passes for the event which was going to be the week after the Nats. Just got an email today that it has been cancelled. I get it, the event requires people from around the world to ship cars, etc so I'm not super surprised, but I was holding out hope that since we're talking August it would still be a "go". I'm not whining, as it is not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, just a bit disappointed. Looks like 2021 will be our year.

Bummer; I remember how stoked you were to be able to finally go.

I would guess that some invited cars are also running late or missing their scheduled completion date.
Plus there's all the car-hauling, staffing, judges and etc. that needs to fall into place.
2020 seems to be pretty much a write-off for so many things.

Considering the logistics to getting those cars there, I’d say this one ‘early’ cancellation that makes sense! Hell, local car shows for June, that don’t attract any cars from maybe more than 100 miles have already cancelled——that doesn’t make sense.

BTW, what today is a safe distance for the general public to view a $26 Million Ferrari? work

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

26 feet. With the "panting" while oogiling over it, it won't check the Bug.

So if my cars were on display, it would be only a matter of less then an inch? eek

Seriously, can't see many owners would be inclined to do a deep cleaning post show on the car collection normally exhibited.
