If they want to cater to those people with lower income that's fine, but yea, steep discounts should be offered to all so maybe the people who can afford something after this can buy and leave decent trades instead of flooding junkyards with cars of no scrap value.

Ugh. What a scam,

Use tax dollars to destroy perfectly good used cars in order to artificially drive up prices on used cars, which is supposed to drive up sales on new cars.

Got to get more low and middle income people into those 72 and 84 month car loans.... rolleyes

And justify it using environmental arguments which don't even work in this situation...

Getting in trouble was one of several reasons my wife has an STX instead of an R/T. Not sure I could keep my foot out of it. whistling Plus I don't have to pay extra on the insurance or buy premium fuel for it. wink

If they were to bring it back they should change the rules.. I would like to buy a car cheap so I can
get the title so I could put my race car back on the road.. I didnt think about the vin when I cut the
car apart and it was scraped also.. I look at junkyards now days and they are empty.. those guys made
a living selling used parts.. and cars
