OK, seems no one is offering a service that can duplicate the factory applied vinyl that is on the steel backs of a 67 GTX front seat. SO, that being said, how have you been fixing the scratched, gouged or missing chunks of vinyl that seems to be missing on every seat back I can find

Thanks
Dan

I assume it is the same as the seat backs on the '67 cuda...?

I which I knew as well... I stripped mine and painted them with texture paint, not correct at all, but it does not look "bad"...

I wish I could find a good source for the orig style...

I was quarter way tempted to have them covered in some cheep thin vinyl, but never did...

Which part are you talking about? Do you mean the peices that go around the leather-simulated front that wrap around the sides and back or the actual steel peice on the back?

BTW is that QQ1? Really pretty color you've got there.

If they are like the seat backs on my 67 coronet I understand that just dashes can refinish them..

Personally I am taking off the finish and painting mine. Not done yet....

All 3 pieces have the vinyl, the 2 side skirts and the large seat back cover.
Yes, the car is QQ1, thanks for the compliment.

If Just Dashes is redoing these, has anyone seen how they look??

Thanks
Dan

I sprayed mine with rock guard and painted over that. I thought they turned out nice, but i wasn't worried about originality either

I haven't seen the JD work, seems like I read that they were offering the service.. I believe it was real expensive...
