Weighed a Dana 60 Eaton Trutrac Diff last week and it was 42 lbs. Those things are PIGS!

The only bad thing on using spools on the street is making tight turns like parking or backing into a small space to park. Some street people will look at you funny when your making those type tight turns when the car and tires are making more noise than usual
